The main plot of A Model Family revolves around a hardworking guy Park Dong-Ha, who is also suffering from poverty. He does everything he can for his family. Dong then discovers two money bags in the back of a car with two men dead inside. He buries the bodies and takes the money, leading him to the world of crime, specifically the Sangseon and Yongsoo Drug Rings.
The second-in-command of the drug ring, Kwang-Chul, begins investigating and eventually finds Dong’s back garden, where the bodies have been buried. Officer Joo-Hyun also accompanies Kwang.
