Auschwitz Untold In Colour Season 2 Release Date, Cast, Plot, and More

Some stories are hard to remember and even more difficult to retell. The Holocaust is one of those stories. Auschwitz Untold In Color tells the horrific story of the killing of six million Jews by the Nazis between 1941 to 1945, a period of fear and destabilization. The miniseries tells this story using colorized archive footage from World War II, and eyewitness accounts from 16 Holocaust survivors. Here is everything we know about Auschwitz Untold In Colour and its potential season 2.

Auschwitz Untold In Colour is a two-part documentary directed and produced by BAFTA award-winning producer David Shulman for Channel 4 studio. Leo Pearlman and Neil Grant are executive producers of Auschwitz Untold In Colour with Sheldon Lazarus, Amanda Ahmad, Zachary Behr, and Mark Tinkler as producers. Jean-Mark Bou Mansour was the researcher involved in the production of Auschwitz Untold In Colour while Daniel Biro served as music composer on the show. Auschwitz Untold In Colour premiered on January 26, 2020, its 45 minutes long first episode titled ‘The Untold Road to Auschwitz’ dropped on several platforms including Channel 4. Episode 2, titled ‘The Unthinkable’, was released the next day on January 27, 2020, in the UK.

Fulwell 73 and Creativity Productions are the production companies that handled the filming and post-production stage of Auschwitz Untold In Colour in the United Kingdom. The well-blended ancient and modern cinematography of Auschwitz Untold In Colour is directed by Mark Molesworth. Untold In Colour is distributed by More4, a British television channel owned by Channel Four Television Corporation.

Auschwitz Untold In Colour is difficult to watch due to the horrors of the Holocaust, but the series is a good depiction of what it must have felt like for the Jews of that time. Many need to understand the horrors that can arise from hatred and discrimination against a religious group, race, or other demographic, so that we may be more interested in fostering peace rather than conflict. There are just some parts of History that definitely do not need to be repeated, and this miniseries is both a reminder of that and a means for us to sympathize with those that were present during that terrifying period.

Auschwitz Untold In Colour has a rating of 7.6/10 on IMDb, calculated using 59 reviews from IMDb users. Because of its strong content, Auschwitz Untold In Colour has a TV rating of MA15+, which means it is legally restricted to an audience above 15 years of age. Although the show is educative, this age restriction should definitely not be ignored.

Auschwitz Untold In Colour Season 2 Release Date

Auschwitz Untold In Colour Season 2 Release Date

As of October 25, 2022, Auschwitz Untold In Colour has not been renewed for season 2. There has been no talk of a season 2 since 2020. Although the story remains incomplete as we are yet to see the complete liberation of the Jews from the Nazis, it is possible the miniseries will not be seeing a season 2. I don’t think the point of the miniseries was to show an ending to the war. But we will keep an eye out and update this page if there’s any development.
