Back To Life Season 3 Release Date
Consisting of 6 episodes, the first season was released on April 15, 2019, on BBC One. All the episodes from season one were released on the same day. On November 10, 2019, the series premiered in the United States on Showtime. The same year November 19, the series was renewed for a second season which premiered on August 31, 2021. Both seasons received a positive reaction from the fans. The series currently holds an approval rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.5 out of 10 on IMDb.
Since the release of both seasons, fans have been asking for a third season Of Back To Life. But, there is no news related to the third season being renewed or canceled yet, even though the series is gaining so much love from the audience.
Back To Life Season 3 Story
Back To Life Season 2 was released back in 2021. Since it was released last year, we can say that it’s been a long time, and the makers have not renewed the show for another season. However, we can expect the show to come back with a third season since the audience immensely loved the first two seasons.
Although BBC has not confirmed anything, creator Daisy Haggard stated in an interview that she is ready to bring back the show with a third season. She said she knew what might happen in the new season and was aware that Season 2 would end. The first two seasons covered the departure of the lead character, so she and Laura talked one day and discussed if they could do a third season.
Haggard added that she knows what that would be, but she loves it when things are complete so that everyone is satisfied and the main person involved in it gets their ending.
However, there is a possibility of doing more and more, but it feels like you have consumed something. We can expect for now that the show might come back with another season someday. Still, everything is dependent on the decision of the makers. Dark comedies have a different kind of storyline and come with the best performances from the lead cast. If the show gets renewed for a third season, the developers might bring back some new faces to attract more audiences.

The main cast of Back To Life that has been shown in seasons 1 and 2 includes Daisy Haggard as the lead character Miri Matteson, Richard Durden playing the role of Miri’s father, Oscar Matteson, and Geraldine James as Miri’s mother, Caroline Matteson. The other important roles include Adeel Akhtar as Miri’s crush and love interest, Billy, and Miri’s parole officer, Janice, played by Jo Martin.
