Moo-sik grows up facing the hardships of life and poverty and starts selling newspapers on commission with Jong Huyan. Twenty-four years later, Moo-sik opened Daejeon’s most prominent English language school. However, when his friend Chi-Young asks for help after facing problems, Moo-sik enters the casino business. He opens his first casino in Daejeon with Chi-Young.
But just as their business grew, Chi-Young got arrested, and Moo-sik fled to the Philippines. He starts his casino business again, and the series talks about how he climbs up the ladder to the top. However, Moo-sik is a wanted criminal in Korea, and his enemies frame him in the Philippines for murder. The series plays out with scenes from the current scenario and flashbacks of Moo-sik’s past as we get an idea of his struggles in life.
