Is the Houghton brothers’ American animated comedy-adventure series Big City Greens Season 4 a possibility? It made its Disney Channel debut on June 18, 2018. Chris Houghton, Marieve Herington, Bob Joles, and Artemis Pebdani provide their voices to the show. Listen, I know you’re sick of my blabbering, so I’ll get right to it- I come bearing GREAT news.
Not only is Big City Greens Season 4 confirmed, but as a little bonus, it looks like we might also be getting a Big City Greens movie. How cool is that?
That’s right, Big City Greens, the most popular series on Disney, will have a musical movie spinoff for both Disney Channel and Disney+, as well as a fourth season renewal on Disney Channel. The comedy series from Chris and Shane Houghton will have more than 100 episodes by the time it reaches its fourth season. The show has already won a Daytime Emmy and been nominated for an Annie Award.

Big City Greens Season 4 Release Date
The Country Club television series received the go-ahead from Disney XD on March 8th, 2016. Chris and Shane Houghton, who previously worked on Nickelodeon’s Harvey Beaks, are the series’ creators. Rob Renzetti and Chris Houghton collaborated on the storyboards for Gravity Falls. On July 24, 2017, the series’ name was changed to Big City Greens.
Now that I’ve got the technical mumbo jumbo out of the way, let’s get down to business.
The second season’s debut date was initially set for November 4, 2019, however, it was later moved to November 16, 2019, as of October 7, 2019. The show received a third season renewal on January 13, 2021. A fourth season of the show was ordered on January 21, 2022. So, yes, season 4 has been greenlit and will make it to your screens real soon. How soon, only time will tell.

In addition to a Big City Greens Season 4, a musical movie starring the series’ principal cast was also revealed to be in the works. The film will be directed by series director Anne O’Brian, with Michael Coughling serving as producer. The movie is scheduled to air on Disney Channel and Disney+.

These four are gonna be there, come hell or high water.
Cricket voiced by Chris Houghton: a 10-year-old troublemaker and farm child. never wear shoes. Every discovery he finds in Big City fascinates him. Ernest, after his deceased paternal grandpa, is revealed to be his middle name in “Bleeped.”
Tilly voiced by Marieve Herington: The quirkier sister of Cricket with a mind made for invention. Saxon, a handcrafted doll Tilly constructed out of an old bag, usually goes everywhere with her. She is exceedingly generous yet, like her younger brother, she occasionally acts selfishly. This was seen in the episode “Mama Bird,” where she was enraged and envious that Cricket received all the attention while the birds ignored her. Then again, aren’t we all selfish sometimes?
Bill voiced by Bob Joles as an adult; Andre Robinson as a child: The father of Cricket, Tilly, and Gramma Alice’s son. Bill is a talented farmer who is overly cautious because he lost a portion of a finger in a hay baler accident.
Gramma Alice voiced by Artemis Pebdani: She is the owner of the Big City-based Green family farm and the mother of Bill, Cricket, and Tilly. She sometimes seems confrontational and grumpy to cover up her love and care for her family. In “Cricket Versus,” her full name is revealed to be Alice Delores Green.

Okay here’s the deal, truth only, no beating around the bush- I’m not exactly sure what the plot will be. Big City Greens has never failed to surprise us. Fresh plotlines, beautifully presented stories, from emotion to humor, the show has everything; and the better the show, the more difficult it is to predict. I’m going not gonna do a lot of guesswork here because who needs to hear lies?
If you’re reading this article, you probably already know that Bill Green and his two kids Cricket and Tilly go in with his mother Alice Green (Gramma), who owns a tiny farm in the center of a large metropolis known as “Big City,” after losing their property in the country.
