Season 5 of ‘Big Mouth’ premiered on Netflix in its entirety on November 5, 2021. The season consists of ten episodes, each lasting 26-33 minutes.

So, what’s the deal with Season 6? It’s finally time for some good news! On July 26, 2019, Netflix announced the show’s renewal for season 6. So, another installment is unquestionably on the way. The show’s early renewal is not surprising given how well it performs with global audiences and is critically acclaimed.

Furthermore, it gave the team more time to work on the sixth iteration’s storylines. Because the series consistently maintains a one-year gap between seasons, we can expect ‘Big Mouth’ season 6 to premiere in Q3 2022 or later. It will most likely follow the show’s tradition of ten episodes per season.

Not only that, but ‘Human Resources,’ a ‘Big Mouth’ spinoff, is currently in development. It will delve into the bizarre Hormone Monsters’ lives in their own supernatural, albeit corporate, world. We’re certainly looking forward to all of this guaranteed amusement!

Jay attempts to persuade his friends to join him in the No Nut November challenge in Season 5. Meanwhile, Missy and Jessi lead protests against the Scheming Gypsy, their school’s racist mascot. Walter the lovebug causes Nick and Jessi to develop feelings for each other, but things go wrong when Nick’s love goes unrequited. Later, Jessi decides to remain friends with Ali rather than date her, while Jay tries to reclaim Lola.

In a special Christmas episode, puppet versions of Maury and Connie talk about their first Christmas with Mother Mary. Leah and Nick, on the other hand, finally take a family vacation. Interestingly, Matthew and Jay exchange sparks. Devin and DeVon throw a New Year’s Eve party in the season finale. Nick apologizes to Jessi for his impolite and entitled behavior. Lola tries to reconcile with Jay, but he prefers to be with Matthew.

Season 6 may delve into Jay and Matthew’s relationship. We can expect teens to become more involved in sociopolitical issues through activism. Who knows, maybe season 6 will introduce more hilarious politician/activist personas like Andrew did in season 5 with a female Bernie Sanders his age! Furthermore, Nick and Andrew may face self-image and romantic love issues once more.

We’ll see how Leah and Val’s relationship develops in the sixth edition. Missy is likely to delve deeper into aspects of her black identity, particularly her physical appearance. Jessi may discover what she desires in a romantic relationship.

The Hormone Monsters will almost certainly face their own quandaries. The sixth season, like the previous ones, will have a central theme that will be officially revealed sometime before its premiere.
