The superhero film based on the DC comic character Black Adam is one of the most awaited films of 2022. The film is to be released on October 21, 2022, in the United States. It is intended to be the spin-off from the 2019 film ‘Shazam’, which is a movie based on the DC Comic character as well. The movie is also the 11th in the DC Extended Universe(DCEU). While shooting Shazam, Johnson was quite sure that he would give a separate film for the villain Black Adam. In January 2017, they finally decide and started the work for the movie.
Though the film was decided to be released in December 2021, it got delayed due to COVID-19 Pandemics. The film was shot in different places like Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Georgia. In August 2020, Johnson revealed more about the film at the virtual DC FanDome event. The movie was mainly delayed because of the reshoot of a few scenes in it, which was supposed to happen in February 2022 but got postponed because Guardians of galaxy Vol. 3 shooting was going on in the Trilith studio.

Black Adam Plot
The story begins with Black Adam finally being released. Nearly 5000 years after getting the almighty powers of Egyptian Gods, he gets imprisoned quickly due to unfortunate situations. Years later, he is freed from his earthly tomb, and now he gets ready to unleash his unique form of justice in this modern world. One of their notable power of Adam is that he can easily live 100,000 tons without much effort and also bend steel, punch walls, and lift heavy objects as well. He is also powerful enough to defeat Captain Marvel.
Black Adam left the JSA group and formed his own team and executed Kobra. He later joined the Secret Society of Super-Villians to protect Khandaq. Black Adam first appeared as a side character in Captain Marvel in the year 1945. Black Adam has a backstory. Wizard Shazam granted him superpowers, But after receiving the superpowers, Black Adam turned evil and decided to conquer the whole world starting from Egypt. Unfortunately, Shazam couldn’t take back the power he gave to Black Adam, so he completely banished Black Adam. That was the reason he couldn’t return to Earth until 1945.
