Bless the Harts is an American adult animated sitcom, the title is based on the phrase “Bless your heart”. The show debuted on September 29, 2019, on Fox’s Animation Domination block.
The series is rated TV-14 (occasionally with either one, two, three, or all four parameters D (suggestive dialogue), L (suggestive language), S (sexual situations), or V (violence) or none at all).
Bless the Harts Plot
Bless the Harts revolves around the lifestyle of a working-class family living in North Carolina. The main character is Jenny Hart, a waitress who is struggling and working hard to meet ends meet for the sake of looking after her family and lives with her daughter, Violet, who is a talented artist herself, and her mother Betty. She has been dating her boyfriend Wayne since Violet has been a toddler and has been a father figure to her ever since.
Jenny works in the religious-themed restaurant with her high-school best friend, Brenda. The show mainly highlights her life and growth in North Carolina.
The show’s universe is loosely related to that of the Fox Series called King of the Hell which has reportedly been a major influence in creating Bless the Harts.
Everything about Bless the Harts Season 3
Unfortunately and much to the dismay of fans the animated show has been formally cancelled by Fox after its second season. The biggest reason behind the decision is of course the poor ratings of Bless the Harts, it was not really garnering a great viewership at all. The second season barely got over a million live viewers and topped that figure just once in 2021.
Moreover, Fox already has three stable big-hit animated shows: The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, and Family Guy, after which it is very difficult to bring the fourth animation to equally attract the audience and get a stable fanbase at the same time.
Hence, the chances of Bless the Hart season 3 are close to none because it is rare for other broadcasting networks to pick up animated shows and none are committed to the medium at the moment either. Sometimes animated shows do get saved by other networks but none knew of at the moment, making the future of Bless the Hart seem pretty much over for now.
