Blood C Season 2 Important Updates

The idea of  Blood C is pretty unimaginative. However, its popularity stems from its brutal action sequences and great production value, which keep you captivated by the screen. If you’ve Watched Blood c already, we’ve brought you information about Blood C season 2.

Blood-C was created with the intention of sharing primarily conceptual commonalities with previous Blood projects. CLAMP was brought on board to design the characters as well as assist in the creation of the setting. It introduced various new features to the Blood series, such as being set mostly in a high school setting. The Elder Bairns were inspired by H. P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos’ Great Old Ones and fashioned after traditional Japanese monsters.

Its savage violence, a creative decision inspired by the series’ themes, prompted restriction in Japan and, eventually, blacklisting in China. Journalists have given the series mediocre to excellent reviews.

Here’s all you need to know about Bood C season 2.

In Blood C season 2, the storyline sells us a twisted narrative. The narrative takes place in a complicated universe. The duality element of existence is depicted in this work, which is wrapped up in a fantasy-action motif. We get to follow Saya Kisaragi’s life.

We can expect more of what we saw in season 1- Saya Kisaragi, the series’ main character, leads a double life. Most people see her as a quiet schoolgirl during the day, but as the sun goes down, she transforms into a really awesome demon-slaying warrior.

Blood C Season 2 Release Date

Despite some striking parallels with ‘Blood +,’ ‘Blood C’ is more of an alternative version set in a similar setting. Blood C season 1 debuted on July 8, 2011, and concluded on September 30, 2011, with a total of 12 episodes. This was followed by the release of a film sequel, named ‘Blood-C: The Last Dark,’ on June 2, 2012.

There have been no formal confirmations as of yet. Furthermore, given that the anime is now about 10 years in the past, it is unlikely that its creators will consider returning to it. In the improbable event that the program is revived, Blood C season 2 will not be released until 2022.

Blood C Season 2 Cast and Characters

Unfortunately, most characters from Blood C season did not survive. While no official statement was launched, here’s an estimate of the old faces we can expect to see.

  • Saya Kisaragi (更衣 小夜, Kisaragi Saya, Main protagonist): Aside from her initial name, chosen weapon, and powers, she is unconnected to any prior entry in the Blood franchise. Saya seems to be an innocent and clumsy young lady who works as the shrine maiden at her father’s shrine, venturing out at night to hunt Elder Bairns as part of her sworn duty. She is, in fact, an Elder Bairn who was abandoned and nurtured by humans. She is unable to feed on people due to an oath she took, and the experiment was meant to test whether her nature could be changed. In Japanese, Nana Mizuki plays Saya. Alexis Tipton provides her voice in the English dub.
  • Dog (犬, Inu):A figure who converses with Saya throughout the story and is the one who helps fulfill her desire to continue to be herself. Its actual identity is Kimihiro Watanuki’s familiar. Jun Fukuyama provides the dog’s Japanese voice. Fukuyama was surprised when he found out that the very last line of the final episode was assigned to a dog. Todd Haberkorn plays the dog in the English dub.
  • Yūka Amino(網埜 優花, Amino Yūka): Saya’s classmate who behaves as an older sister role, chastising her for being late or preoccupied but still caring for her. In actuality, Yūka is a Fumito buddy who participates in his experiment in exchange for political influence in Tokyo. She is the lone survivor from the “primary cast.” Masumi Asano provided the Japanese voice for Yūka. Asano described Yūka’s first personality as gruff and noisy with a good heart. Martha Harms provides her voice in the English dub.

Since no official character list has been declared yet, this is all we know about the characters of Blood C season 2.

Saya and her father spend the night protecting the community against Elder Bairns, creatures that inhabit inanimate items to hunt humans and suck on their blood. Saya’s abilities in the “art of the sword” allow her to beat the Elder Bairns, but those with the ability to speak accuse Saya and the humans of breaking a pact known as “Shrovetide.” Saya also meets a talking dog that claims to be here to grant someone’s request, and she suffers from blanks in her memory and migraines every time she attempts to recollect.

As the Elder Bairns begin attacking throughout the day, Saya’s struggles with them get increasingly desperate, and both Nene and Nono fall prey, leaving Saya severely saddened. Shinichir ultimately hears of Saya’s plight and attempts to assist, but he is subsequently murdered. Everyone but Saya and Itsuki is killed in an attack on Saya’s school before Saya can slay the attacking Elder Bairn. Saya eventually finds that the school was only occupied by her class and their instructor Kanako. She begins to doubt her identity and mission as a result of the voids in her recollection and comments from the Elder Bairns.

Kanako requests to examine Tadayoshi’s library, which contains knowledge about the Elder Bairns, after the attack that kills Shinichir. When they discover that the library is a forgery, Kanako confronts Saya with the live Nono, Nene, and Shinichir before forcing her to swallow Elder Bairn’s blood. It is revealed that the whole community, including those close to Saya, were participants in a Fumito-organized experiment, and that Saya is actually an Elder Bairn in human form. She had vowed an oath not to harm humans and, as a result, pursued her own kind, but Fumito kidnapped her and experimented on her.

Fumito utilized medications and hypnosis to make Saya compliant again whenever she started relapsing and recalling her history, and all the Elder Bairns she encountered were controlled by Fumito using her blood. Kanako had planned to use Saya to show the reality of Elder Bairns, enlisting the assistance of Nono, Nene, and Shinichir.

Fumito, Itsuki, and Yuka confront them, with Fumito unleashing an Elder Bairn who brutally murders Nono, Nene, and Shinichir for their betrayal. Saya saves Kanako from the Elder Bairn while killing it but Kanako is later slain by Tadayoshi, who is revealed to be a human Elder Bairn hybrid driven insane by Fumito’s overdose of Saya’s blood.

Saya, now transformed into her actual self, is forced to murder Tadayoshi and sees Fumito unleash a fake Elder Bairn that slaughters the town’s people before Saya kills it. Fumito’s troops try to shoot Saya, but Itsuki gives up his life to save her since he has grown to love her. Fumito and Yuka, who took part in order to gain political power with Fumito’s assistance, flee aboard a helicopter. Fumito shoots Saya when she attempts to stop them. Saya is recuperating by the lakeside when she learns from the dog that her want was to stay herself throughout Fumito’s experiment and that she must now chase her next wish. Saya goes out in search of Fumito.
