About By the Grace of the Gods Season 2

Ryoma leaves the Jamil family again at the end of Season 1 of “By the Grace of the Gods,” this time to construct himself a new house after avoiding a possible disaster from hazardous limur birds assaulting a community.  By the Grace of the Gods season 2 will most likely focus on Ryoma’s various adventures with his slime monsters.

While the anime has stayed true to the majority of the key narrative aspects from the original light novels, there are still additional titles that Season 2 might employ for episodes.

Ryoma may be reunited with his best friend Eliaria Jamil and the rest of the Jamil clan in the second season of “By the Grace of the Gods.” Eliaria and her family are among the kindest wisest, most knowledgeable people young traveler meets.

According to the authorized anime website, Eliaria travels to the royal capital to focus more on her magic. Ryoma pledges to pay her another visit in 3 years. Aside from reviving existing characters, Season 2 may include some new ones previously shown in light novels.

By the Grace of the Gods debuted on Tokyo MX and BS Fuji on October 4, 2020, and lasted 12 episodes until ending on December 20, 2020.

Season 1 of “By the Grace of the Gods” concluded its 12-episode run in late 2020. Fans waited months for news of a second season. That shifted in June 2021, when the official anime website for “By the Grace of the Gods” announced that work on the second season had begun. Unfortunately, no official release date for the new season has been announced as of yet.

At the very least, the new season might premiere in 2022, especially during that year’s autumn anime season. Season 1 premiered in October 2020, thus this would be comparable. Otherwise, “By the Grace of the Gods” should be released by 2023.

By the Grace of the Gods season 2 has already been approved for distribution in the United States by Funimation. Funimation announced that the next season will be aired live in Japan on the same day that Season 2 was announced.

Because Funimation aired the first season and produced the English dub, the site quickly announcing its plans to broadcast “By the Grace of the Gods” stands to reason. Despite the fact that Funimation has yet to acknowledge it, the English dub for the second season will almost certainly be done by them.

In the year 2020, By the Grace of the Gods was a popular anime. Its global appeal, meanwhile, is limited, particularly in Japan. Several unpopular works have been approved for the next season. Yet, given the current level of interest, future seasons may be compromised. Currently, just about 20k people follow the show’s official Twitter account.

Animes that are being renewed for a second season often have a fan base of at least 100,000 people. When we look at Google search traffic and Myanimelist data, we can see that anime isn’t very popular worldwide. The second season of the anime will be a terrific chance for it to expand in popularity.
