Case 63 Season 1 Recap
The Chilean podcast also got an English adaptation which premiered on October 25, 2022, on Spotify. It is about a psychiatrist Dr. Eliza Beatrix Knight and her patient Peter Roiter. Peter is someone from the future who wishes to save everyone from the pandemic.
The main premise is based on time travel, and the first episode shows how Eliza and Peter meet. Peter claims to have come from 2062, and Eliza thinks that Peter might have been diagnosed with depression or mental trauma for which he makes the claims. Peter knows that Eliza won’t believe him, but he continues to make the claims. Peter reveals about his parents and his birth, and it seems awkward if Eliza says the same to his parents since Peter’s parents can’t identify each other in the present.
Peter speaks about Marie Baker, but they don’t know each other. He wants Marie to come on the plane, and he did not say the answer to Eliza for some unknown reason. He later tries to stop Eliza from boarding the plane, and as the episode concludes, he speaks the full name of Eliza, which she never told him.
The story features a lot of twists and turns as it progresses, and in the climax, Eliza reaches the JFK airport to meet Marie and Peter tells her to immunize Marie Baker. Marie and Eliza have a conversation and while they enter the bathroom, Eliza understands that Marie is her sister Danny’s friend. Danny has contracted leukemia and has to undergo plasma immunology therapy.
Eliza is surprised after all the revelations and gets confused about what’s happening to her. Marie leaves Eliza and it is disclosed later that Eliza is nowhere to be found. She is found naked at the airport and a man in the face of Peter arrives and claims that he is Dr. Vincent. Vincent asks questions including what year it is and Eliza reveals that the current year is 2012.
