The series is produced by Powerhouse Animation Studios and Project51 productions, with Kevin Kolde as executive producer. It is a Castlevania spin-off series.

‘Castlevania Nocturne’ is an upcoming animated series that is a spin-off series of Castlevania, by Netflix. The story centers on Ritcher Belmont, who is the protagonist of Castlevania, as one of the descendants of Simon Belmont. It is a four-episode anime based on the game series Castlevania and the series Castlevania.
Though the official release date is not announced, it is certain that it will be released in the year 2023. The animated series is still in production. It’s under making, so they haven’t let out any hints as a glimpse of what to expect. Since the anime is not yet completed, we can’t be sure about the number of episodes and running time. If it follows the previous series, then the running time can be around 25 minutes for each episode.
Though we don’t know much about the upcoming anime, it is better to be prepared before watching it. As we all know, it is a spin-off series of Castlevania, why not watch it before watching the anime? It is an action and adventure series which has four seasons with a total of 32 episodes. It is based on a Japanese video game named Konami. The anime tells the story of the cool hero and Vampire hunter, Ritcher Belmont and Maria Renard during the bloody French Revolution period. He is the descendant of Trover Belmont and Sypha Belnades(from the original Castlevania series). The story might be similar to the original series where Richter has to protect his city from the bloodthirsty creature with the French Revolution as its backdrop. Richter Belmont is born in the 17th century, after a few hundred years after the clash of Trevor Belmont and Dracula.
