Departure Season 3 update: The Canadian network Global ordered the Shaftesbury Films and Global Television production Departure, a thriller drama series created by Vince Shiao, for 2019. Patrick Cassavetti, Carlo Dusi, Scott Garvie, D. Matt Geller, Diane Hendricks, Christina Jennings, Karine Martin, Archie Panjabi, Chris Philip, T.J. Scott, Ben Silverman, Bo Stehmeier, Jeff Stentz, David A. Stern, and Malcolm MacRury serve as the show’s executive producers. The first season began on Universal TV on July 10, 2019, and the second season will broadcast on August 5, 2021. It will be back with fresh episodes soon.

Departure Season 3 Release Date

We can safely assume that Departure will return for a third season. The show has been renewed, with a third season of The Departure set to premiere in 2021. In the upcoming third season of Departure, actor Eric McCormack will appear. There has yet to be a confirmation of when Season 3 of Departure will premiere. The premiere of season three is scheduled for 2022.
Departure Season 3 Plot

The show is still in production. Hence a plot summary is currently unavailable. The show’s premise has expanded to incorporate numerous investigations into catastrophic events. Kendra joined the team investigating the disappearance of flight BGA 716 in the first season.
In the second season, she becomes involved in yet another investigation after a high-speed train accident along the route. Only in Season 3 do political happenings and conspiracies add to the overall story.
If Season 3 is renewed, Kendra may decide to stay in the United States, which would change the squad’s dynamic. It is predicted that Archie Panjabi will play Kendra Malley, Kris Holden-Ried will play Dominic Hayes, Florence Ordesh will play Rose Tate, and Peter Mensah will play Levi Hall in the forthcoming season. Claire Forlani plays Janet Friel; Tamara Duarte plays Nadia; Mark Rendall plays Theo; Allan Hawco plays Richard Donovan; Tyler Fayose plays Arthur Delane, and others round out the cast.
