Diabolik Lovers is a Japanese visual novel that is franchised by Rejet. It is a mixed genre series i.e. drama, mystery, horror, and romance. The series is directed by Shinobu Tagashira and is produced by Mayumi Ichikawa and Yuko Kon. It is written by Seiko Nagatsu.
The series was first premiered on September 16, 2013, and was concluded on December 9, 2013. The series consists of 2 seasons. Each season has 12 episodes. The second season was premiered on September 23, 2015, to December 9, 2015. It has been made into various manga, anime, drama CDs, music CDs, and fan books.
Diabolik lovers Season 3 Plot
Diabolik Lovers Season 3 plot follows a girl Yui Komori. she is the main heroine of the series. She was a normal teenage girl in high school. Everything was normal until, her father who was a priest went overseas for work and after that, the whole life of Yui is changed. She was sent to a new town and got admitted to a new school. she was sent to a mansion which was told to be her new home. When she entered, she was being escorted by other people but once she enters the room, she is all alone.
After entering the room she sees 6 people lying in a room who seemed to be vampires. The mansion was the house of 6 vampires who were brothers but from different mothers. They were called the Sakamaki brothers—Shuu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, and Subaru—a family of vampires. After living with them, she suddenly started getting weird dreams regarding a mysterious “Eve”.
Though at first the siblings are confused as to why the girl has arrived, they soon realize that she is to be their new “sacrificial bride,” not to mention their other, more carnal intentions for her. One night, on their way to school, the brothers and Yui get involved in an unexplainable fiery car crash. The next day all 4 brothers go to the house and kidnap her.
Each of the brothers was more sadistic than the other, she was feeling sad in that house. she could feel a different kind of pain in her chest as if something wrong is happening to her. With each passing day, her life became worse. All the brothers vow to make her, his own. Her life was filled with pain. She fell deeper and deeper into madness and ecstasy.

Yui Komori s a beautiful, kind, gentle, and clumsy 17-year-old teenager whose life was normal until her father went overseas for work. She was an adopted child. she was sent into a mansion to live with 6 vampire brothers. Her life was filled with pain in that mansion. She was going mad with each passing day.
Sakamaki household
The Sakamaki brothers are the sons of Karlheinz but from three different mothers. They were called the Sakamaki brothers—Shuu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, and Subaru—a family of vampires.
Shūū Sakamaki is the eldest son of the Sakamaki family. He is the current master of the mansion. He is the first son of Beatrix. He is the only one who already knew about the arrival of Yui. Shūū loves music. Being the eldest one, he has never been responsible for taking care of the Family.
Reiji Sakamaki second son of the Sakamaki family and the second son of Beatrix. He is the mocalmestnd composed one. He despises Shuu maybe because he was always being neglected in front of his elder brother. He eventually took his anger out by setting fire to Edgar’s village when Shūū refused to listen to their mother.
Ayato Sakamaki is the third son of the Sakamaki family, the eldest triplet, and the first son of Cordelia. He is the main protagonist and serves as the hero of the story. He never received love from his mother. He is unable to love and is at first cold towards Yui. Though over time, he starts to warm up to her and even care for her. Later he falls in love with Yui. He is the one to drink Yui’s blood first.
Kanato Sakamaki is the fourth son the second oldest of the triplets, and the second son of Cordelia. He is referred to as a “problem triplet”. Her mother nicknamed him “little songbird” because he had a beautiful voice. He is quite attached to Yui. He speaks politely but is extremely sadistic.
Laito Sakamaki is the fifth son, the youngest triplet, and the third son of Cordelia. He was sexually abused by his mother. Laito has a phobia of insects, specifically spiders. Laito along with his other two brothers killed their mother.
Subaru Sakamaki sixth and youngest son, and the only son of Christa. Christa become mentally unstable after he was born which lead to her denouncing him as her son. This made him filthy and unwanted, eventually turning out to be violent.
Diabolik Lovers Season 2 Ending
Diabolik Lovers Season 2 ended as the Sakamani are attacked by the wolves. The brothers realized that the attacks are being done by the founder and they are behind Yui. Yui decides to go away from them so they are safe but Ruki and Ayato do not agree to this. Ruki suggests a truce between Sakamaki’s and Mukami’s in order to protect Yui from the Founders. Ayato later agrees to the fact that Yui belongs to the Founder and drinks her blood. Ruki feels miserable seeing this but had no choice than accepting it.
Diabolik Lovers Season 3 Release Date
Diabolik Lovers Season 3 is not officially announced for its renewal. The official date of its release is still a mystery. But if we assume the release date, it is going to be released by the end of 2024.
