When he returns home he finds out that his son never existed and he returns to Macon Heights in demand of his original life.

The fourth episode, “Crazy Diamond” is about Ed Morris who is working at a company producing these humanoids called Jacks and Jills and the QCs that add to their intelligence and emotions. He gets into a plan made by Jill of stealing 10 QCs where he will use one to extend her life span and the other nine he may sell to start a better life afresh with his wife.
