Ex-Arm Season 2 might be created by HiRock and Shinya Komi who are the creators of the science fiction manga series Ex-Arm, which is published in Japan. If there will be a release of Season 2. The manga Ex-Vita by Komi, published previously, is remade in the series. From February 2015 to December 2017, it was serialized in Grand Jump, a seinen manga publication from Shueisha. From December 2017 to June 2019, it was serialized on the Shnen Jump+ website. 14 tank on volumes made up of Shueisha’s chapters were published.
Yoshikatsu Kimura directed this television series. There are around 12 episodes in the first season of this show. Visual Flight produced and distributed an anime television series that ran from January to March 2021. After twelve episodes, it came to an end on March 29, 2021.
Ex-Arm’s former season was an abject flop that let down the audience. However, given how excellent the manga series is, some of them are still unsure if Ex-Arm Season 2 would be released or not. While some fans are already done with the anime series adaptation, they are expecting that it will get better and stronger in the second season.

Ex-Arm Season 2 Expected Casts

Ex-Arm Season 2 may have the same casts as Season 1 it is not officially declared but fans can expect the same casts. Let’s meet the casts of Ex-Arm:
- Mikako Komastu as Minami Uezono
- Akari Kito as Alma
- Soma Saito as Akira Natsume
Let us wait for the official announcement of casts for Ex-Arm Season 2.
Ex-Arm Season 1 Plot

Akira Natsume is the main character of Ex-Arm. Even though he was talented in electrical engineering, he was afraid of electricity for some reason. He gets a lover for himself after determining that he would permanently improve his dull self. He was killed in a notorious truck accident, nevertheless.
Akira miraculously regains consciousness 16 years later as Ex-Arm, an active AI and superweapon. A police officer and her android companion invited him on board to help them navigate their spacecraft. Now that they have formed an unconventional gang of three, they must protect one another and unearth some disturbing realities about modern society.
The finale of the series is its most crucial component. However, the Ex-Arm anime sadly overlooked that. For the benefit of the populace, Akira and Alma made the ultimate sacrifice. While the manga depiction of their sacrifice was rather depressing, there were no such feelings in the anime, making it impossible to recall the show as a depressing anime.
Will there be Ex-Arm Season 2?

Ex-Arm Season 2 might be there but as per the critic’s and fans’ reviews, it is hard to say if there will be Ex-Arm Season 2. The studio appeared to have done extremely shady work on the 3D modeling, and it was full of motion blurs, to name just a couple of the big problems. This is sad for the writers and creators of the series because it turned into a laughing stock and is now cited as an example of poor animation.
Both fans and critics were unimpressed with the first season of the anime-only series. Only after seeing the first few episodes of this show did the majority of fans stop watching. The negative response also affected the series ratings. On MyAnimeList, it had a dismal rating of 2.98. As a result, when the show’s performance is examined, the producers cannot find a single justification for approving Ex-Arm Season 2. The fact that the production company still has a tonne of source material for the sequel is the only thing to be happy about.
Also, Fans have complained that the production firm suppressed a same-sex kiss in earlier episodes. Later on, it was discovered that they hadn’t censored it; rather, the poor animation was to blame. The anime’s tempo was also terrible. Additionally, the soundtrack, plot, and character development were all quite unimpressive. Ex-Arm is unquestionably the worst television program this winter, and it may also be the worst anime of the year.
There is no chance for its renewal, though, given how the first season did. Due to the excellent quality of the manga, there is a strong likelihood that the producers will choose to revive the show.
Ex-Arm Season 2 Release Date

Ex-Arm Season 2 release date is yet to be announced but before that, we should also note that there are few chances of the release of Ex-Arm Season 2 because it did not go well last year when the first season was launched. Contrary to expectations, neither the reviewers nor the audience found it to be a success.
Although the television series’ concept and plotline were based on one of the most well-known Japanese comics, viewers did not find them to be particularly compelling. Because of this, the audience was unable to give it many favorable opinions, loves, or appreciations. I believe this is the main reason why, even after a year, the second season of this show hasn’t been canceled. However, there hasn’t been a formal announcement made about the second season of this show’s airing or its cancellation.
Given that Ex-Arm was adapted from a well-known manga series, it is likely that the creators are still interested in continuing the second series. But if they do decide to create an Ex-Arm Season 2, simply cancel the first season and start a new one to make up for the loss.
Ex-Arm Season 2: where to watch?
Ex-Arm Season 2 is yet to be announced if it will release or not because of its negative criticism. But when in March the debut of this series happened it was available only on one platform that is Crunchyroll. Crunchyroll is the place to go if you want to watch this series online. Although Ex-Arm is a Crunchyroll original, I fell short of expectations and it received a lot of negative feedback on YouTube.
With the exception of Crunchyroll, none of the existing web platforms, including Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, and Hotstar, now provide it for streaming. Despite the audience’s negative evaluations of this series.
Viewers can watch it and let us know if you liked this series or not. Was it worth it? But we promise readers as soon as we get an update about the Ex-Arm Season 2 we will inform you about the same. Stay Tuned for further updates.
