The first season of Fantasy Island did surprise us. Elena Roarke (Roselyn Sanchez) was introduced to the audience as the proprietor of a five-star resort whose main responsibility was to fulfill the wildest dreams of her wealthy clientele. While her demeanor may have seemed overly polished at times, she always found a way to make sure that visitors to the mysterious island were left feeling fulfilled in their quest.
Additionally, she could bring out the best (and worst) in people who came on vacation with the mindset that they could do whatever they wanted. The premise is indeed a little bit unsettling. Although it was entertaining, it just made viewers want more adventures starring Elena, her trusted assistant Ruby (Kiara Barnes), and their pilot/chauffeur Javier (John Gabriel Rodriguez). Many people are wondering if Season 2 of Fantasy Island will be produced as a result.
Fantasy Island Season 2 Release Date
Season 2 of Fantasy Island will have a firm premiere date revealed soon. Season 2 of Fantasy Island is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2022. The premiere will air on Fox, just like the premiere of Fantasy Island. To date, there have been eight episodes of Fantasy Island. Since the first season of Fantasy Island consisted of eight episodes, the second season is likely to follow suit.
Fantasy Island Season 2 Plot
The second season will likely return to the show’s primary theme, which is that people from all walks of life come to this island to finally achieve the dreams they’ve always had. After a while, though, the vacationers begin to suspect that things on the fantasy island aren’t quite as simple as they had hoped. Due to Akuda’s isolation, his family sought sanctuary on the island. How he’s doing on Fantasy Island all by himself will be a major plot point in season two.
Elena Roarke must work two jobs so she can support herself and her family while living on the island. The second season may hone in on her efforts to balance his dual identities. Her relationship with Javier was also depicted. It’s nearly impossible to predict what will happen in the second season, especially since new characters will be introduced.
Fantasy Island Season 2 Cast
Most of the main cast from Fantasy Land is expected to return for season two. The island’s administrator, Roselyn Sanchez (Elene Roarke), will be among the characters. Her breakout performances in “Devious Maids” and “Without a Trace” propelled her to stardom. Hohn Gabriel Rodriguez (Javier) is the pilot who transports the island guest, played by Kiara Barnes (Ruby Akuda). The series’ returning guests could be joined by new faces in the following seasons. Fox CEO Michael Thorn said it was a fun experiment to mix and match Hollywood’s A-listers for Fantasy Island. Based on what Thorn said, the show’s guest stars may be any of the many shoes that have already debuted on Fox.
