To take revenge for the same, Tonino takes it upon himself to protect the physically disturbed Padre and kill Salvo and Val.
Season one was all about how Salvo and Val got entangled in the chaos of a murder investigation of Alberto Gambino. Salvo, a fan of a long-running American crime investigative cliff-hanger, takes it upon himself to get them out of the case, only for it to blow up in his face when he learns Gambino and his wife Ester were having an affair. Val, Salvo’s meek and shy best friend, takes up the responsibility of getting them out of the mess.
