Rashmika Mandana appears in her second Bollywood movie with Vikas Bahl’s upcoming movie, Goodbye. Starring along with her is Amitabh Bachchan, and they’ve never worked together before- but we have a feeling that this will turn out great.

About the Shooting of Goodbye
It is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Vikas Bahl. The movie features Amitabh Bachchan (playing Bhaskar Prajapati), Neena Gupta (playing Bhaskar’s wife) and Rashmika Mandana (playing Bhaskar’s daughter) in lead roles. Mandana will be debuting in Bollywood with Mission Majnu, with a lead role alongside Siddharth Malhotra.
The thing about Goodbye, as Mandana said, is that the movie is lightweight, complex, and effortless, and the viewer feels connected to it. In a recent interview, she stated the same-that she read a 150 page script in about 2 hours, because she could feel what the character felt.
She also shared her shoot experience in a recent interview. Here’s what she said: “It has been amazing shooting with him. When you shoot for a long time, you gel with the other actors really well. It’s this blend, which gives performances that are really fun. I’ve been grateful enough to be doing that. We give out performances, and when people see your comfort, the director and everyone, they’re happy. It has been crazy.”
Amitabh Bachchan, the evergreen star of the Bollywood industry shared a glimpse of his furry co-star on social media. The adorable photograph showed a happy Bachchan with the pup, stating, “My costar .. बात कुछ भी हो इनके कान ज़रूर खड़े हो जाते हैं’” (Translation: No matter what, (the pup) always knows.”
Bachchan has a few other projects on the way, including Brahmastra and Chehre.
About shooting, he expressed certain enthusiasm and excitement. Sharing a few pictures, he wrote, “So .. as the work prepares the location a restaurant in the suburb Bandra .. you convert from what you came in to what they need you in the shot ..its getting into car getting out and straight into the shot .. no rehearsals just be .. be natural .. ok fine .. and SURPRISE.”
Neena Gupta had not many comments. It is her first time working alongside Bachchan, and before the work begun, the actress stated that Bachchan intimidated her.
Goodbye Release Date
While a specific date has not yet been disclosed, a vague “September 2022” is the expected time of release.
The shooting had to be paused and then, later, resumed, because of the COVID 19 pandemic, hence making the movie’s late release justified.

The primary cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, better known for her work in Telugu and Kannada films. The principle photography for Goodbye begun on 2 April 2021
Goodbye has cooperated with production houses Balaji Telefilms Ltd and Good Co. Production. It has been shot in India and falls under the genre of drama. As of now, the status of this movie is at announced.
Not much has been seen except for one particular still from the set that was leaked online. Here, you see Rashmika in a casual outfit and Amitabh Bachchan with a distinguished style, dressed in a kurta and pyjamas with salt sprinkled hair and a stubble.
