Ever wondered how some people seem to have the willpower to do anything and everything in life? Well, here’s a diversified cast of revolutionary women who came together to show you how it’s exactly done! Based on the New York Times bestselling book, ‘The Book of Gutsy Women: Favorite Stories of Courage and Resilience’ written by former First Lady, US Senator, Secretary of State, and Presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton and her daughter Chelsea Clinton.
This docuseries sees them gives fans a sense of what it means to truly be a brave woman. Throughout the show, they explore what it means to be a mother and the bond that mothers share with their daughters. They go on a road trip to have heart-to-heart conversations with some of the courageous women they both are inspired by. In order to prove that even some of the greatest women have someone they look up to and who motivates them to keep working toward their goals.
Harry Clinton and her daughter Chelsea Clinton are the chief executive producers of the show alongside Siobhan Sinnerton, Roma Khan, Banks Tarver, Anna Chai, and Johny Webb. Chai also serves as the showrunner. Apple by HiddenLight Productions, in association with Left/Right LLC, produced the series alongside Kevin Vargas and Claire Featherstone.

The main cast comprising the mother-daughter duo interviews some of the most pioneering female personalities throughout the show. Among the women is Goldie Hawn (First Wives Club), who has been seen in several series since the 1970s, like Private Benjamin and The Christmas Chronicles. The founder of the Hawn Foundation, a foundation that imparts education to unprivileged children, is seen alongside her daughter Kate Hudson, who is also a phenomenal actor starring in films like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Bride Wars.

We also see Kim Kardashian, a businesswoman, model, and media personality, who has a number of brands ranging from make-up to clothing and is also an activist hoping to be a lawyer. The anthropologist Dr. Jane Godall also makes an appearance. She travels around the world to campaign for the protection of chimpanzees and the environment.
Gloria Steinem, A journalist and political activist who was a leader of the American feminist movement in the 1960s and 1970s, also talks on the show along with Wanda Sykes, a famous comedian who has acted in TV and movies for years like The Upshaws and Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Amy Schumer, a comedian, writer and actress who has starred in films like Trainwreck, and Snatched and I Feel Pretty, plus hit TV series such as Only Murders In The Building and created her own sketchy comedy series called Inside Amy Schumer.
