The trailer for Haseen Dillruba begins with the introduction of Rani Kashyap, a woman who embraces her sexuality with joy. Dinesh Pandit, a Hindi pulp fiction writer, is a favorite of hers. The feisty woman marries Rishab, a man who fell in love with her at first sight. Rishu has her name tattooed on his wrist and makes every effort to keep his wedded bride happy.
However, her world comes crumbling down when her husband is killed in a blast, and she is arrested as the major suspect. As the investigation progresses, more facets of Rani’s personality are revealed, as we watch her becoming attracted to her next-door neighbor. There’s also a suggestion that Rishu is more than meets the eye.
During the interrogation, she stumps the cop by quoting her favorite author and saying, “true love is incomplete without a spatter of blood.” As Rani correctly points out, every tale has two sides; it all depends on who is telling it.
A Message from the Cast
Taapsee Pannu said in a statement that the day she heard Kanika’s basic notion, she got a strong gut sense. She also admitted that she wasn’t the producers’ first pick. “It came to me after they’d exhausted all of their other choices. And, as the old adage goes, if something is intended for you, it will find its way to you.
“Haseen Dillruba is the right blend of humor, eccentricity, retribution, and romance,” Vikrant Massey stated. I hope it astounds the audience as much as it did me when I first heard it. Shooting for it was a thrilling experience. Harshvardhan Rane also expressed his gratitude for being in the same frame as some of the country’s best performers.
