Hijack Season 2 is the latest English show that originated from both the United Kingdom and the States. It is a seven-part thriller series in which George Kay, along with Jim Field, has created a miniseries for the audience who love to watch shows that are full of thrill. In 2022, the show received the green signal from Apple TV+, where the first season was released, and saying that audiences loved the series would be an understatement. He must put his skills into action to liberate a 7-hour flight from Dubai to London from being hijacked.

Jim Field Smith and Mo Ali have given their direction in directing this awesome series, whereas DJ Shadow, along with Richard Ashcroft and Wil Malone, has composed the theme music of Hijack Season 1. It is produced under the head of 60Forty Films and Archery Pictures Production Companies along with Green Door Pictures and Idiotlamp Productions Production Houses. The first season has seven episodes, and the time frame of each episode varies from 44 to 50 minutes.

The first season of Hijack started premiering on 28 June in the year 2023 on the Apple TV+ platform. It ended on 2 August 2023, and at the time this article is being written, the second season hasn’t been renewed. The release date of the second season is not available.

Since the season hasn’t been officially announced yet, fans will probably have to wait longer before it will be released. They can expect that either in late 2024 or early 2025, Hijack Season 2 will be available, but nothing is confirmed.

On 9 May 2022, the production of the first season commenced in Aylesbury, and it was completed on 18 Nov. 2022. In April 2022, it received a green signal from Apple TV+.

There are chances that the second season of the thriller miniseries Hijack won’t be released before late 2024 or early 2025. The latter has a higher possibility of happening as the season hasn’t been officially announced at the time of writing this article. Since the season is not renewed at the moment, predicting the plot will be a bit difficult as neither the trailer nor the teaser has been released yet.

Idris Elba, who portrayed Sam in the first season, expressed his excitement for the second season after the first season concluded on 2 August 2023 in one of his interviews.

The season 2 cast of Hijack has not been made official yet as the season is not officially announced. The first season has Idris Elba as Sam Nelson, who is a corporate business negotiator, and Neil Maskell as Stuart Atterton or Gerald Taylor, who is the leader of the hijackers. Christina Adams and Marsha Smith-Nelson, Eve Myles as Alice Sinclair, Archie Panjabi as DCI Zahra Gahfoor, Maz Beesley as DI Daniel O’Farrel, and Ben Miles as Captain Robin Allen along with Hattie Morahan as Louise Aitchison and Neil Stuke as Neil Walsh will be seen in Hijack Season 1.
