Release Date of In the Heights
Many movies and series have postponed their release date in 2020 because of the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, they have to shift their schedules according to the pandemic rules and regulations. One of them is the film ‘ In the Heights ‘ which was going to release on the 26th of June 2020 but now after 1 year ago it’s going to drop in cinemas across the globe. In the US it’s going to be released on 11 of June 2021.
About the filming: the shooting starts on 3 June 2019 in New York on December 22 2019, that reports came about the completion of the filming.
The screening of the film for the critics happens virtually on the 15th of April 2021.
For the next screening, it will be shown at the Los Angeles Latino International Film festival on June 4 2021. Then followed by this in the Tribeca Film festival, it will premier worldwide on 9 June 2021.
The film will be released in the United States on 11 June 2021 with simultaneous streaming on HBO MAX.

The main story revolves around Usnavi, how he keeps working hard daily to achieve his goal and fulfil his dreams. He is the owner of a small convenience shop and his dream is to earn enough money so that he could return to his home country Dominican Republic. To fulfil his dream he works very hard and he also takes care of the elderly people in the neighbourhood. He likes a girl who works in a salon in the neighbourhood. As the strip develops you get to know about Nina who just returned from completing her 1 year of college and give surprise to her parents. They are shocked because for their studies they invested all their life savings in hope that their daughter will have a good and bright future. The story tells about the stories of the neighbourhood and the people. They have suffered a lot and are still doing their work with a steady hand and with self-respect, and this is because of this neighbourhood they are close to each other and held together.
About the Music
On June 11 2021 the film soundtrack is also going to be released on Atlantic Records Music. The album contains a new song called ‘ home all summer, the album contains 17 tracks and they are all written by Lin Manuel Miranda.
