The series is created and written by Verónica Fernández and Laura Sarmiento and is directed by Jorge Torregrossa, Ben Gutteridge, Marta Font, and Koldo Almandoz. Intimacy Season 2 Release Date
The first season of the Spanish series was released on June 10, 2022, on Netflix. It has a total of eight episodes with a running time of around 50 minutes each. The series throws light on the most important issue happening in this generation- intruding on the privacy of other people. The story is about a politician whose sex tape gets released when she is running for the Mayorship of Bilbao. Her entire life gets shattered even before it begins. Interesting story right. The series is more relevant to the present generation whose lives are filled with chaos. The story is about an upcoming politician, Malen, whose sex video gets leaked when she is running for the Mayorship. Parallel to Malen’s story, we can see a white-collar worker, Ane, who comments suicide, after her nude photos and videos get circulated around the place. The series begins with Malen, all set for becoming the upcoming mayor of Bilbao. But her lie turns upside down when her sex tape gets leaked, which pressures her to withdraw from her position. Meanwhile, Ane, a white-collar worker commits suicide because her sex tape gets circulated among her colleagues and the public. Ane’s sister sets out to find the truth behind her sister’s death.
This marks the beginning of the battle of two women against the entire cyberworld. Two women who have lost everything in their lives set out to fight against the people who did this to them. Alicia, a sincere cop helps the ladies with their cases. Bego, along with Alicia starts investigating Ane’s colleagues, and her exes. Meanwhile, Melen decides to reveal the mastermind behind her leaked video. The story takes an unusual turn when Melen starts getting new threats, which makes her take the important career decision which leaves us speechless.
