Loki season 1: Release date
Following a sudden switch to two days earlier than expected, Marvel’s Loki series will now debut on Disney Plus on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021.
Tom Hiddleston announced the report, announcing that his spin-off series would be the first Marvel Studios original series to be broadcast on a weekday rather than a Friday. The explanation for the change was not given, although some fans suspected that it was to prevent a collision with Star Wars: The Bad Batch (which will be released on Fridays) and Marvel’s Black Widow, which will be available on Premier Access while Loki is still on the air.
Loki will have a total of six episodes, each lasting between 40 and 50 minutes, making it comparable in length to the recently ended thriller The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
The finale will most likely air on Wednesday, July 21st, 2021, if the series keeps to its weekly release schedule with no interruptions.

Loki season 1: Plot
Let us begin with the elephant in the room: Isn’t Loki longer alive? No, it appears not! In 2011’s Thor, the anti-hero died, only to be revived in a post-credits scene. In Thor: The Dark World, he even pretended to die to usurp Asgard’s throne. When Thanos broke Loki’s neck in Infinity War, he said “no more resurrections,” but the God of Mischief has survived – even though Loki hasn’t been resurrected in this new season.
Mobius, a TVA agent, reveals Loki’s split truth when he disappeared during Endgame, and he needs the trickster god to assist the agency in restoring it in the new teaser. Loki is likely to break away from the TVA and wreak havoc on his own, but he may be thwarted by Judge Renslayer, who is believed to be Kang the Conqueror’s love interest and foe in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Thor 4 & Doctor Strange 2 Connects Loki TV Show
Although Marvel has yet to confirm this, sources say that the Loki TV show will specifically set up the events of Thor: Love and Thunder by bringing Loki back to the main MCU timeline in an alternative version of Mjolnir. Jane Foster’s transition into The Mighty Thor would allegedly be aided by this. In addition, Disney CEO Bob Iger has announced that Loki will have some kind of connection to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, another MCU Phase 4 update that will feature Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch, who is fresh off her Disney+ series WandaVision. It’s unclear what shape Loki’s link would take.
What do we know about the next season?
Loki is expected to return for a second season on Disney Plus, according to Deadline Hollywood, which recently reported that writer Michael Waldron will be involved “in any capacity” in the project.
Marvel Studios’ VP of Production and Development, Nate Moore, believes Loki contains a lot of irreverent, clever, and cool storytelling.
Tom Hiddleston is doing some of his best work on the film, according to the star. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. He also considers all of the incredible accomplishments he’s accomplished, but this display will reveal so many new sides of him and highlight his versatility. He believes that the performance would astound a large number of viewers.
Loki will be a six-episode series, according to D23.
Loki season 1: Trailer

The Time Variance Authority, a shadowy organization under whom the God of Mischief now works, is officially introduced in the first full-length trailer for Marvel’s Loki.
