Losing Alice is a psychological thriller series directed by Sigal Avin originally for Israeli Hot 3. The executive producers of the series are Sigal Avin, Guy Levi, Nadiv Palti, Jonathan Paran, and Tamar Mozes-Borovitz. The series is distributed through Cineflix Network.
The series season 1 was on, aired on June 18, 2020, on Hot 3 nationally, while internationally it premiered on January 22, 2021, on Apple TV+. The series due to its rational message, get a lot of applause from critics. It has an IMDb rating of 6.5 out of 10.
After receiving so much positive response from fans, critics, and media. Series producers decided to have another season.
Losing Alice follows the story of Alice, who feels lost since she is raising her family. After meeting a passionate scriptwriter, she wants to become a successful director. She is so obsessed with this dream of hers that she wants success at any cost. Even if it is losing her family.

Season 1 of Losing Alice premiered in 2020. Later on, it was renewed for a second season. However, at the moment there is no update about the second season. The show’s runners haven’t announced any release dates for season 2.

The series is a story about Alice, a 48 years old filmmaker, but no longer an energetic person. She feels stuck in her career, family, and life and is extremely tired of raising her three daughters along with David. Her husband and a successful actor.
During a train journey, she meets Sophie, who is an ambitious, enchantress and a promising scriptwriter in her 20s. Sophie is a fan of Alice and dreams that Alice will direct the whole script that Sophie has written.
Alice gets so inspired by this talented young beauty that she pulls Sophie is her professional, personal and sexual life. It seems pretty normal at the start, but later on, things are not the way they seem to be. Alice’s whole life is turned upside down from a simple and peaceful life to a heated one.
Alice soon realizes Sophie’s dark and pessimistic side of her personality. Eventually, as the story moves forward, many twists and turns arise. It is no longer clear who pulls whom in her life, who is actually suffering; who will face the real destructive end, and who is the real badass behind all the fuss.
Season 1 ended with clearing up all the confusion. I was all along Alice, who was unconsciously destroying her whole life. All her surroundings had to suffer from it. She put everything at stake just to become a successful director.
David asked her to come back home, but she knows not everything will be the same as before. On the other hand, Sophie wakes up from her Coma and Alice learns about the truth. What do you think is going to happen next?
Season 1 ended well. There is nothing to add up or was unsolved in the last one. But we hope that Alice and David may live a happy life together. What will happen between Sophie and Alice?
