In essence, “Love is Blind” follows a group of men and women who have been divided into separate “pods.” Then they engage in conversation with others on the dating show, initially making small talk and eventually moving on to in-depth discussions. They have to eliminate all but one of the potential matches before deciding whether they want to get married. They never get to meet their partners. After the engagement process is over, the couples can actually meet and begin planning their wedding in the real world.

Because the magic that lasts in conversations frequently does not translate to a real-life romance, this is when the majority of the drama occurs. In fact, the movie “Love is Blind” even depicts a bride who flees the altar. Nick Lachey, the lead singer of the band 98 Degrees, and his wife Vanessa Lachey are the hosts of the program.

Love Is Blind would continue in its current format, and no changes have been mentioned up to this point. It centers on 15 men and women who go on 10-day dates where they can only communicate with one another over a speaker.

They are matched up in a speed-dating format at first, but they have the option of longer dates. When they feel ready, the daters can make a marriage proposal. Only after the marriage proposal has been accepted do the two people actually meet. The newlyweds then relocate to a resort for a romantic getaway, where they spend time getting to know one another and have their first experience getting close intimately.

The engaged couples then relocate to the same city apartment building where they currently reside. They then interact with the friends and families of their partners, learning more about their lives. They schedule the wedding for four weeks later, and during that time, the women shop for wedding gowns and the men shop for suits, along with making decisions about the style and flavor of their wedding cake. Each participant chooses whether or not to say “I do” at the altar.

Although official confirmation is still pending, some online reports have suggested that the contentious Season 2 contestant Abhishek “Shake” Chatterjee may host the fourth season.
