Monk has given back-to-back eight great seasons of the show and now people are wondering about the fate of Monk Season 9. The last season, season 8 of the show was aired back in 2008 and it has been more than a decade ever since. The show is an American parody of a crime investigation show. The plot of the show ended in the eighth season of the popular TV show. Hence, there is no plot for us to discuss for the ninth season of Monk. It would’ve been great to see some sort of a spin-off series. But it is hopeless at this point to even think about the plot of the ninth season of Monk TV show. If however there was a Monk Season 9, it would’ve followed the same plot. The same story of Adrian Monk who has OCD but that does not stop him from doing his work.
It does make his work harder but he is determined to do it. Seeing Adrian work again as an investigator and from the writers who wrote such great eight seasons of the show would have been a dream come true for all of us fans of Monk. But this is heartbreaking to say that there will be no Monk Season 9 so there is no plot to reveal.

There is going to be no cast for the ninth season of the show because it is canceled now. Monk Season 8 Story Recap
You see the season starts off as Adrian Monk accepts the job of a bodyguard. He then meets an African person who is searching for someone. He is searching for the person who ran over his wife. But Adrian gets confused. He confuses his wife with that of the widower. He gets called to the desert to examine a case. He was with Natalie there. He then comes closer to finding out the murderer after doing the investigation. This is when he comes across his wife’s last voice message.
This message helps him unveil the mysterious serial killer and crack this case down. An investigation draws Monk back to the place where he first heard about Trudy’s murder – but his fate has been unfortunately sealed as he retraces his steps on that fateful day. A videotaped clue from Trudy provides Monk with the clues he needs to solve her murder – but he has very little time to catch her killer while finding out what poisoned him.
Adrian Monk (Tony Shalhoub) finally discovers his wife Trudy’s (Melora Hardin) murderer after twelve years of searching, concluding a seven-year, eight-season long arc. This is a very good show for you to watch if you still haven’t seen it and we are not going to ruin this show by telling you any more about the suspense and the mystery.
