Moonhaven is an AMC exclusive series that just released its first season and fans are now wondering about the fate of Moonhaven Season 2. It has not been even a month since the first season was released and the buzz around the internet is completely invested in the mystery of when and if we are going to see Moonhaven Season 2. The show is an amazing drama and mystery thriller which makes the buzz and craze for the second season understandable and reasonable.
Moonhaven is produced and created by AMC Studios and Ocko & Company. The language of the show is English. The show is filmed in Dublin, Ireland. It originated in the USA. The show consists of only six episodes; we believe the same will be in the second season of Moonhaven. However, the show in the first season did not do so well. It only has a rating of 4.4/10 on IMDB.
The plot of the story follows the tale of Bella Sway, a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler 100 years in the future who finds herself accused of a crime and marooned on Moonhaven, a utopian community set on a 500-square-mile Garden of Eden built on the Moon to find solutions to the problems that will soon end civilization on Mother Earth. The story is so hauntingly beautiful and worth watching.
Moonhaven Season 2 Plot
Moonhaven Season 2 is confirmed to follow the story continued from the first season. However, we have no spoilers or any idea about where AMC productions are going to end the second one. To be very specific, Moonhaven season 1 had a total of six episodes in the show. We will see the introduction and the trope and there are some things that we can make out of the trailer of the show.
A murder on Moonhaven puts Earth’s last hope in jeopardy; during what should be a routine cargo loop to the moon, pilot Bella finds herself the subject of detective Paul Sarno’s investigation. Then the story continues from there. We see Bella fight for herself, to prove her innocence all while we need to understand preserving life on earth. The story has an interesting base. It all boils down to whether the fans like it. We currently are not sure that a lot of them do.
Well, as we already stated we have no idea where the producers and makers want this show to go. Or even if they are going to continue the show. Let’s wait for any official announcements before we say anything about the trope, storyline, or plot of Moonhaven Season 2.
Moonhaven Season 2 Cast
There are no official updates regarding the new cast that we might get to see in the second season. But we are sure that most of the season 1 cast might come back. Except that we will not get to see some of the original cast in Moonhaven Season 2 because they might be killed in the first one. Let’s cross our fingers that our favorite characters make it to the end and look at Season one’s cast:

Moonhaven Season 2 Release Date
The question everyone wants an answer to, but sadly nobody has the answer. We need to be honest here, there is not even a confirmation if a second season is going to be made. It depends on how the first season does. However, with the kind of response the first season is receiving, we may not get to see the second season after all. The creators have given no shred of information regarding Moonhaven Season 2.
We can however predict the release date for the second season. See, the first season is going to air periodically starting from 7th July 2022. So realistically we need to focus on so many factors before we see a second season. The show will need at the very least, one year to reproduce the series, the casting, the writing, the shooting everything will take ample time.
If we go by a realistic approach, the best time for us to see Moonhaven Season 2 is the Winter of 2023 earliest. We might get to see it if it is pushed latest by the summer of 2024.
Moonhaven Season 1 Recap
The story of Moonhaven first introduces us to Bella Sway. Bella Sway is a successful lunar cargo pilot. She seems good at heart. She is a very trustworthy and passionate person and feels the same about the missions that she has been given. But due to some unknown stances, we find that Bella travels forward in time. We soon discover that she has traveled nearly a hundred years in the future.
We are not going to give you all the spoilers and bore you with all the details about the show. Moonhaven is a utopia. A utopian great world where Bella Sway finds herself next after traveling a hundred years in the future. The story then continues. She is accused of some crime that she never committed and now she has to get into the depth of the situation since she is stuck in the future for the time being.
You need to watch the series for yourself to find out what happens next. We are not spoiling the fun of binge-watching a show.
