More Than A Married Couple But not Lovers was announced to be released as an anime adaptation of the romantic comedy manga by Yuki Kanamaru of the same title. It was officially confirmed in November that the anime adaptation is already in the works. Studio Mother will be taking charge of the animation.
More Than A Married Couple But not Lovers Plot
The story of More Than A Married Couple But not Lovers is set in the high school environment of Seisun Academy, a high school where all pupils are forced to co-exist and live as a fake couple as a part of their syllabus and course. Jiro Yakuin and Akari Watanabe are paired together as one such pseudo pair in the school. The two of them are absolute opposites of each other in terms of behaviors and personality traits.
In this traditional “martial training” class they are required to perform a lot of tasks as a part of their assignment too. Akari suggests that they must perform the task well and act as a perfect pseudo couple to everyone since only then will they get the opportunity to swap their partners which shall be provided to the top performers. They continue to execute all the tasks as perfectly as they can hence to gain maximum points and ace the task but in the process, as they get to know each other better, understand each other more and more, and also start to get each other’ personalities and habits even better they do not realize how they get even closer to each other and soon start to like one another too.

All the fans of More Than A Married Couple, But Not Lovers have been eagerly waiting for the release of the anime adaptation of their favorite simple manga series for years and as their dream is now eventually indeed coming true are overjoyed and cannot wait for the release of it soon.
As of now, there is still no confirmation on the release date of More Than A Married Couple But Not Lovers but considering the way and flow with which things are being carried out the anime might get an early release date. The earliest time for production is most likely to be the Fall of 2022. So, More Than Married Couple But Not Lovers can be released earliest by the end of October.
