The contestants work in a modern warehouse area which also serves as a runway when it is a show day along with all the hair and makeup stations. A ‘closet’ of all sorts of fabrics and notions is stocked and also adapted and changed according to each challenge. The producers will also provide them with any item they shall need besides the stuff supplied already.

Each episode has a particular theme introduced first and a new guest judge as well. The designers then get to work on their work tables and start assembling and planning by pulling all their fabrics and supplies. Usually, over two workdays they are mostly constantly working on the designs, structuring, construction, and the planning process.

During the runway contest, of course, there is a catwalk and each show has a different vibe while still having a professional outlook. The judge’s comments and first thoughts are then noted too. After witnessing the catwalk, judges visit each entry, watch and examine their work closely, and question the designer. After that, they decide on a winner, and the last two entries are also revealed. On further deliberation, one or more designers are eliminated at the end of each episode.

Initially, Next in Fashion was cancelled by Netflix after one season but then later on it was a blessing for the viewers as Netflix surprised them with a renewal update on the show along with a new host who is none other than a famous supermodel, Gigi Hadid.

It announced on Twitter that the show will be returning with Tan France and Gigi Hadid co-hosting the second season.

Since the casting call has been just put out we cannot expect a confirmed participants list yet or a confirmed release date for the show but judging by the timeline of the previous season if they pace with their production then maybe we can get season towards the end of 2022 hopefully!
