The manga series has 13 volumes in total which were published in Shueisha, and Ultra Jump magazines. The English version of the manga series was published in Viz Media magazine. The anime is written by Yukie Sugawara and directed by Naoyuki Itō.
The first season of the series was released on October 10, 2019, with a total of 12 episodes. The final episode of Season 1 was released in December. A few months after the release of the first season the creators came up with the second season which was released in July 2020. Just like the first season, the second season also had 12 episodes. The story centers on a few humans who are known as ‘Extended’ who solve the problem created by other Extended for their survival. The final episode of Season 2 was released was September 24, 2020.
It has been two years since the release of the second season but still, the creators haven’t given any updates regarding No Guns Life Season 3. No Guns Life Plot Summary
The story centers on Juzo who loses his memory of his previous life and gets his head replaced with a giant gun. He lives in the dark streets of the city as a ‘Resolver’ for his survival. Later as the story progresses we get to know that, after the great war the peoples’ bodies get modified to make them dangerous weapons, and they are known as the ‘Extends’. Juzo is modified and transformed into a head gun where only someone from behind can pull his trigger. He is the one who regulates and solves cases relating to other Extends, and he is supported by Mary, an intelligent woman.
The story is quite from any other anime, right? Reading the story itself shows that No Guns Life Season 3 would be worth watching and yeah, worth waiting for.
