Many people enjoy horror and supernatural dramas, and they eagerly anticipate new Netflix episodes and series. We also have one of the horror American Supernatural dramas, titled October Faction, developed by Damian Kindler and based on the comic name October Faction.

October Faction Season 1 Plot
After the death of Fred’s father, the world-traveling monster hunters Fred and Deloris Allen return to their homeland in upstate New York with their teenage children Geoff and Viv.
Fred and Deloris must conceal their identities as members of a secret organization as the family adjusts, and our heroes quickly realize that their new small-town location isn’t as idyllic as it appears.

October Faction tells the storey of Fred and Deloris Allen, a beast-hunting couple, and their twin high school sons, Geoff and Viv. Following the death of Fred’s father Samuel, the family decides to conduct a burial service in their old neighborhood of Barrington-on-Hudson.
Fred is hesitant and appalled to return back home, recalling fond memories of his sibling’s death and the never-ending confrontations with his parents over his inadequacy and choice of females. Viv has nightmares during a seance about an animal with long hair chained to the ocean floor, trying to free itself, and the children soon start showing extraordinary proclivities.
In addition, Geoff exposes a teacher’s deepest, most hazy mystery about his significant other in front of his classmates.
They are teased by the famous ingroups for being untouchables because they are both not very good at establishing friends.
Fred and Deloris, members of a mysterious organization called Presidio tasked with protecting mankind from the same animals, should keep their identities hidden from the townsfolk while living a normal life. It proves difficult from the start as strange events unfold in the sleepy little town.
With six comic book volumes of source material and the co-creators themselves working on the TV series, fans should be reassured that the storey will feel very similar to the comics.
Is Season 2 of October Faction cancelled?

Why did Netflix cancel October Faction Season 2?
Netflix purchased the rights to a number of comic book properties in order to produce series that would attract more members. Locke & Key, The Umbrella Academy, V Wars, Daybreak, The Blue Exorcist, The End Of The F***Ing World, Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina, and October Faction were among the shows that aired.
Netflix recently purchased the rights to Mark Millar’s Millarworld comic books and will adapt some of them into episodes in the not-too-distant future.

Netflix has recently released a series based on three distinct IDW properties, including V-Wars, The October Faction, and Locke and Key.
These three dream series presumably appealed to a similar audience, which may explain why Netflix decided to save money and only give one of them a second season. As a result, Locke and Key’s renewal for Season 2 was most likely a bad omen for the other two shows.
Cast of October Faction
Tamara Taylor (Bones, Lost) and JC MacKenzie (The Wolf of Wall Street) play Deloris and Fred, respectively, propelling the cast on beast pursuing adventures. Viv and Geoff are played by Aurora Burghard (Sex Education) and Gabriel Darku (Impulse), who becomes crucial to the couple’s intriguing character and deal with the unexpected upheaval of their “perfect” old neighborhood throws at them.
In the first season, Wendy Crewson (Room), Megan Follows (Reign), and Stephen McHattie (Watchmen) all made appearances.
