The series revolves around the life of an average superhero named Saitama. He manages to win all the fights with just one punch. But his life is empty and hollow, he doesn’t receive respect from people. His unique strength left him with a sense of boredom. Since nothing can challenge him, he struggles with depression and ennui. In the end, his superpowers end up being the cause of a lot of frustration. His superpowers didn’t excite him anymore. He no longer felt the adrenaline rush and the thrill that he once felt while fighting a battle.
