Created for Netflix by Mark Williams and Bill Dubuque, Ozark is an American thriller crime drama television series that is produced by Aggregate Films and MRC Television. Following a money laundering plan that takes a wrong turn for a Mexican drug cartel, financial advisor Marty Byrde decides to cover everything by setting up a larger operation. Marty arranges for his family to be shifted from the Chicago suburb of Naperville to the summer resort community of Osage Beach, Missouri. When the Byrdes come to Missouri, they get trapped with local criminals along with Kansas City Mafia. Dubuque and Williams are also the executive producers of the series, along with Chris Mundy and Jason Bateman.
