Pacific Rim: The Black Plot Summary
Season 1
The story begins by showing the dangerous monsters from the Pacific Rim named Kaiju escaping from there and overrunning the continent of Australia. In order to save the country they build gigantic robots and armed forces but unfortunately, everything fails and the Kaiju conquers Australia leaving only a few people as survivors. Hayley Travis and Taylor Travis are siblings who get left behind by their parents who leave the country to get prepared to fight against Kaiju. It’s been years, but still, they haven’t returned. Five years after the incident, Hayley stumbles over a long-abandoned Jaeger named Atlas Destroyer and decides to activate it.
Hayley and Taylor together activate the robot and use it for finding their parents. Their plan gets messed up when Kaiju receives the activation alarm from Atlas Destroyer. To save themselves, they set out to the Sydney Base and meet Boy and Mei. Soon they realize that their mission is not just finding their parents, but fighting against the dangerous monster Kaiju and protecting the survivors.
Season 2
The story begins with Boy, who is a human but has the ability to turn into Kaiju. He has a permanent scar which shows his true identity as a fighter. He gets the scar when he tries to save Hayley and Taylor from the Kaijus. Accidentally, Boy runs into The Sisters, a cult who prays to Kaijus. He gets attacked by a poisonous ladybug sent by The Sisters.
Soon Hayley and Taylor find Boy and takes him to Mei. Mei tells them that they have to go to the house of Kaijus who has the antidote for this poison. As soon as they reach there, The Sisters find them and try to kill them. But with the help of Loa, the AI of Atlas Destroyer, they escape from The Sisters and rush to Sidney base to find a safe place.
