After finding Na-Kyum, he says that he is not a painter and Seungho punishes his assistant for not speaking the truth. Na-Kyum then loses consciousness one day, after which Seungho takes him to his place and takes care of him.
Seungho once again tries to confirm if Na-Kyum is the painter. Na-Kyum disagrees with the same and starts crying. Seungho still wishes that Na-Kyum does not leave and asks for him to make his painting. Seungho is already known for his lust and forces Na-Kyum to become an artist. But this is something different compared to what he has to face every night.
Painter of the Night features love as well as an obsession for something and this is a theme that has been explored in various shows and movies all these years. However, the way the subject has been handled here is the reason it received a positive response from critics and audiences. Considering that there will be another season, we can expect that the makers will decide to bring in some new characters and they might take another route by bringing in the element of thrill and suspense.
