Pokemon Concierge has yet to receive an official release date. The stop-motion anime series is anticipated to premiere on Netflix in 2023, but neither the streaming nor The Pokemon Company has provided specific dates. It’s just an interpretation, as the sources still need to confirm its release date. Let’s hope to see it soon on the OTT platform Netflix.

Pokémon Concièrge Plot

Haru, a young woman at the Pokémon Resort, will be followed as she interacts with Pokémon and their owners who come to visit as guests. It’s essentially a kid-friendly version of The White Lotus, but it’s unclear whether it takes place in the same universe as the popular anime starring Ash and his pal Pikachu.

Based on its premise, Pokémon Concierge appears to be a different story than Ash and his companions’ globe-trotting exploits in their program. The Pokémon anime, on the other hand, won when it showed the protagonists taking things slowly with little, slice-of-life storylines, and this new spin-off will likely find equal popularity as its plot.

Other than the protagonist Haru and her partner Psyduck, no other characters for the series have been announced. Given the latter’s visibility and popularity inside the Pokémon brand, Psyduck appears to be the show’s mascot, like Pikachu for Ash’s anime series.

In this show, Pokémon Concierge will take a fresh look at the iconic pocket monsters while they relax at a tropical resort. This is also the first time we’ve seen the Pokémon Universe in stop-motion, giving the new series more in common with an Aardman feature than traditional Japanese anime like the mainline program.

This is all that can be anticipated from the teaser of the Pokémon Concièrge, which was a small video, after all. But fans eagerly await the series to be on Netflix as soon as possible.

Pokémon Concièrge Cast

The cast of this stop-motion series has yet to be announced. There currently need to be English or Japanese voice actors mentioned for the show. Still, the original anime engaged some of the finest of the best to bring its characters to life, so spectators may likely recognize some familiar voices. So, rest assured, once the cast is announced, everyone will be aware of it.

Netflix and The Pokémon Company are teaming up with Domo inventor Tsuneo Gda’s Dwarf Studios (not to be confused with Dwarf Animation Studios in France). This well-known animation studio is behind several other anime classics, including Rilakkuma, Kaoru, and The Curious Kitty & Friends on Netflix. Based on these works and the series’ stop-motion methodology, Pokémon Concierge will undoubtedly be an animated treat for fans.

Once you have a Netflix membership, you can watch Pokemon Concierge on any Netflix-compatible device once it is launched. While Netflix subscription tiers and price points have recently expanded and increased, such as introducing a lower-priced option with commercials, there currently needs to be content cut-off depending on which person tends to choose what plan accordingly.
