Ranking of kings is the animated series adaptation of Wit studio aired from October 2021 to March 2022 on Fuji TV’s Noitamina programming block. Is it Japanese fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Sosuke Toca. Ranking Of Kings season 2 is its second season. The show has 23 episodes And is based on a little Prince named Bojji who is deaf. Despite criticism from his people about his access to the throne, he dreams of becoming the greatest of kings.
The entire show follows the story of how all the people try to bring him down and is also denied his birthright to be on the throne because of his physical shortcomings. in a few episodes, the story also depicts the adventures and darkness of Bojji and Kage as they navigate the world.
Ranking of kings run at the 6th place on Tsutaya comic awards 2019. It ranked 5th on manga Shimbun Taisho 2019. Boji and cog were nominated as the best lead male actor and best supporting male actor respectively in the mega Academy Award 2022.

Rankings Of Kings Plot Summary And Recap
The whole show revolves around the little Prince named Bojji who is deaf. He is a naive child because he has a dream to be the best and the greatest of kings even after all the criticism he receives from his people about his succession. One day Bojji meets Kage, a shadow. Kage is a survivor of a wiped-out assassin clan who to Bojji’s surprise understands his words despite his disability to speak. Then the story depicts the adventures and darkness of the pair as they navigate the world.
Bojji’s father, King Bosse, was renowned as the strongest man in the world in his youth. After the death of his father, Bojji’s right to succession is affirmed by him on his deathbed. Although people in the Royal Court believe that Bojji is unfit to rule due to his physical shortcomings and wish to make his younger half-brother Prince Daida, who is wildly arrogant, the king.
The person who doesn’t want Bojji to become the king the most is Bosses’ widow and Daida’s mother, Queen Hiling. She calls a meeting and asks for a vote to change bosses’ will and to forgo Bojji’s right to succession. Her plan is as successful as ever and the vote is passed and Daida is placed upon the throne and is the king now. After all of this Bojji requests to undertake a journey so that he can gain experience and grow stronger.
It is also told that Queen Hiling once had great affection towards Bojji but that love exists no more in Hiling’s heart, so she accepts Bojji’s request reluctantly. Daida comes across an enigmatic figure within a magical mirror that is unknown to his mother as well as to Bojji. He comes under the influence of the figure and is planning a sinister and dangerous plot to make his parts permanent and to achieve the position of number one in the ranking of kings.
Rankings Of Kings Season 2 Release Date And Expected Plot
The first episode of Ranking of Kings season 1 premiered on October 15, 2021, and the last episode aired on March 25, 2022, with a total of 23 episodes. At present, the show stands at an impressive rating of 8.8 out of 10 on IMDb, being a fan’s favorite. There is no official information about the show being renewed for a season 2 but sources say that it is expected to be released in the year 2023, whatever the release date might be we all love the show and are just hoping for the best.
The plot of the second season of the show is uncertain because of the lack of news about which manga chapters to be adopted. Although, in the first season we see Bosses’ reign ending due to his death and Daina taking over the throne instead of Bojji. We are expecting more of that, of how Bojji goes on a journey and comes back stronger than ever even when everyone puts him down.
We would expect to see more of the enigmatic figure who comes across Daina in the magical mirror and how they continue to try to consolidate Daina’s reign and powers now that he is the king.
