Ray is a work of iconic filmmaker called Satyajit Ray who needs no introduction because of some wonderful work he has provided every time he has come to board and directed by some talented professionals Abhishek Chaubey, Srijit Mukherji, and Vasan Bala who have definitely made the story wore worth a watch.

Netflix had shared the look of this anthropology last month and shown us how this thrilling experience will be through its teaser. As this will be surrounded by themes like “love, lust, betrayal, and truth”, a press release says the story would unfold each character’s multiple shades and vulnerability, which would be definitely fun to watch. The four stories are titled Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa, Forget Me Not, Bahrupiya and Spotlight.

Ray has some very familiar and loved cast from the Bengali and Hindi film industry. One of the leads is Manoj Bajpayee who has recently taken to his Twitter handle to share the news of Ray’s release soon through a six-minute look. This is a definite threat to its audience.

It has been recently known that Ray is all set to release on our favorite OTT platform Netflix on June 25, 2021. This wonderful anthology is written by none other than Satyajit Ray, who just gets all his shots right. Srijit Mukherji is a very renowned Bengali director who holds the credit for this anthology too. The Ray is a collection of several elements coming altogether all are part of love but maybe not love. The other segment of this Ray is monitored and directed by the very talented Abhishek Chaubey and Vasan Bala.

The lead roles are found to be played by skilled actors like Manoj Bajpayee, Ali Fazal, Shweta Basu Prasad, and Kay Kay Menon. Whereas you cannot find even a pinch of fewer skills in our very loved sporting cast, including Gajraj Rao, Anindita Bose, Bidita Bag, Dibyendu Bhattacharya Harshvarrdhan Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.

Gajraj Rao recently on his Twitter account shared about Ray through a tweet expressing himself he says he found himself very fortunate and also excited about being a part of rain which is an anthology of four passionately curated stories. He added up to the same by saying that his audience would enjoy the core of this series filled with strong emotion penned by Satyajit Ray with all his heart out. The thrill in the story would keep everyone hooked till the end is what he feels.

He was also recently interviewed by pinkvilla where he talked about working with Bajpayee in Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa, directed by Chaubey. He says that it feels so excited when working with Manoj again as we had worked a lot with each other in theatre and not only this we have shared screen number of times and had so much fun together in the process. So he finds himself happy and content every time he works with Manoj.

A segment title Forget Me Not is directed by Mukherjee and Basu Prasad can be seen in the same as Rhea which is a mysterious woman character who meets the Ipsit who could be called a cutthroat corporate shark and from there is what the audience has to experience by unfolding the different phases of the story.

Anindita Bose will also be seen there in a supporting role and adding much more to it. Kay Kay Menon and 29-year-old actor Bidita were also directed by Mukherjee in the third episode of Bahrupiya and the excellence is seen there which no one can deny. Also, Harshvarrdhan Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Sanyal, and Akansha Ranjan Kapoor will be seen in lead roles in Balan’s featuring Spotlight.
