The first season of the music reality show was released on Netflix on October 9, 2019. The reality show gained more audience, especially the hip-hop fans. People all over the world watched the reality show which made this one of the best reality television series. It is considered ‘the best music competition show in years’ by TIME magazine. Soon after the end of the first season of the show, the audience started their queries about the second season. It has been two years since the first season has been released but Season 2 has not been released yet. But the creators have actually given us confirmation about Rhythm + Flow Nouvelle Ecole Season 2. 

When all the fans were desperately waiting for any updates about ‘Rythm + Flow’, the winner of the first season, D Smoke, surprised the world with his tweet on Twitter. The second season of ‘Rythm + Flow’ was announced in March, where D Smoke appeared in a video rapping his release and assuring us that the reality show will be back with Season 2.

Later, one of the Season 1 judges I.T acknowledged this news on his Twitter, adding that the artists can now submit their audition tapes. This clearly confirms that there is Season 2 for the series. Though we don’t know who all are the participants of the second season, it’s sure that all the three judges will be there for season 2 as well. In short, Season 2 is confirmed, till now no news about cancellation has been said. The first season of the music show was quite an interesting one. The judges of season one were Cardi B, an American rapper, songwriter, actress, and television personality. Chance the Rapper is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and activist. T.I., is an American rapper, record producer, songwriter, actor, record executive, and entrepreneur. Hopefully, if everything goes well, we can expect the same judges in season 2 of the reality series as well.

There was a total of 9 participants in the first season of the show. They were D. Smoke, Flawless Real Talk, Londynn B, Troyman, Caleb Colossus, Sam Be Yourself, Ali Tomineek, Big Moufbo, and Old Man Saxon. D. SMoke was the winner of the first season, and Flawless Real Talk was the runner-up. Londynn B and Troyman got third and fourth place respectively.

‘Rhythm + Flow’ was the first-ever music competition reality show developed for Netflix. The series literally shook all the hip-hop fans across the globe with its talented participants. The series also received awards for ‘Best Tv Show of the Year’ in 2019 and won the ‘Outstanding Reality Program, Reality Competiton Series or Game Show’ in the year 2020. The first four episodes of the series were released on October 9, 2019. The next three episodes were released on October 16, 2019, and the final three episodes were released on October 23, 2019. 

The series begins with the judges starting their hunt for the best rappers around the world. T.I drops for Nipsey Hussle, Cardi B goes for Snoop Dogg and Chance chooses Anderson Peak’s picks. In the second episode ‘New York Auditions’, Cardi teams up with Fat Joe and Jadakiss at S.O.B to find the best rapper on the East Coast, who are ready to represent Cali. Finally, they found the top 30 contestants across Los Angeles who are divided into groups to collaborate and only the best ones among them continues with the show.

Among them, 16 were selected to fight the biggest battles in their lives, the rap battles. The eight lyricists were selected to head home and write hit songs while they shoot videos traveling around the cities with their stories. The six candidates’ task s to pic an iconic sample and perform it in front of a huge audience within 2 days. The final five contestants will get the opportunity to collaborate with Jhené Aiko, Miguel, Teyana Taylor, Ty Dolla $ign, and Tory Lanez. In the final episode, we can see the finalists writing their dream songs with their hottest producers and giving an award-winning performance in front of the judges. The judges have the privilege to choose the winner of the show.
