Sanditon Season 3 is coming or not? Developed by Andrew Davies, Sanditon is a British historical drama television series that is adapted from an unfinished manuscript written by the English novelist Jane Austen. The main premise is set in the backdrop of the Regency era and focuses on the lead character who has been exploring the new seaside resort of Sanditon.
The novel was written in an unfinished manner and the original work was featured in the first episode. The developed characters were then used to complete the story. The novel focuses on a seaside town at a time when society was going through some change. Austen finished 24,000 words of the novel during her demise in 1817.
The makers have featured some talented stars for the characters of the series that includes Rose Williams, Anne Reid, Jack Fox, Charlotte Spencer, Leo Suter, Theo James, Kris Marshall, Crystal Clarke, Kate Ashfield, and Ben Lloyd-Hughes.
Most of the scenes from the show were shot in Somerset at various spots. The bridge at Iford Manor was featured in the first episode and interior filming mostly took place on the sets built at Bristol’s The Bottle Yard Studios. Before the show was released in the United States, it was canceled in December 2019.
However, with assistance from Masterpiece (PBS) and the fans, Sanditon raised funds and the second season was confirmed to premiere on March 20, 2022. A third season was also confirmed and Theo James, Mark Stanley, and Leo Suter were not returning for another season. New cast members were hired with Rose Williams portraying Charlotte Heywood. Filming for the second season began in July 2021 and it first aired on PBS followed by ITV on July 22, 2022.

The makers have renewed the series for a third season in May 2021. But the makers have not confirmed the official date for any new season of the show so, there is no release date available for Sanditon Season 3. The first season released on 25 August 2019 in eight parts in the United Kingdom and on January 12, 2020, in the United States. Season 2 of the series aired on March 20, 2022.
