September Morning is a Brazilian-based drama directed by Luis Pinheiro for Amazon Prime. He also serves as executive director of the series along with Dainara Toffoli under O2 Filmes.
The first season of the series makes its debut on June 25, 2021. This season had only 5 episodes with a running time of 25 to 40 minutes. The series was loved so much by the fans and that’s why people wanted another season of it. It got an IMDb rating of 7.1 out of 10. Soon after its popularity, Amazon decided to have another season of the series.
September morning is a story about Tran’s woman Cassandra, who leaves her native town to chase her dreams. She wants to be financially independent and no one is going to stop her. But what will happen when a child appears in front of her unexpectedly and claims to be her child?
The series stars popular singer Linker as Cassandra along with other prominent names like Thomas Aquino, Clodd Dias, Gustavo Coelho, and others. The filming location for season 2 is in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The shooting for the season began at the end of 2021 and ended somewhere in early 2022. The original language of filming was Portuguese.
September Morning Season 2 Release Date
The second season of the most awaited series will be released on Friday, September 23, 2022. Unfortunately, this season will also have 5 episodes with a run time of about 30 minutes.
And here, right after one year, the season is ready to come out. However, there is no trailer being released for season 2 yet.
September Morning Season 2 Storyline
September morning follows the life of Cassandra, who is a transgender woman. She works as a delivery person for a certain mobile app in Sao Paulo, Brazil. However, she had to leave her hometown to fulfill her dreams. A dream to become a cover singer for Vanusa, a popular Brazilian singer from the 1970s.
After so much hard work day and night, she finally manages to get her apartment, a beautiful lover and is set in her life. Things get changed in the blink of an eye. Aren’t they?? An ex-girlfriend, Leide shows up in her life with a child who claims to be her son.
Season 1 showed how Leide tried hard enough to provide everything to her son, Gersinho. And that’s why her comeback to Cassandra means a good upbringing for the child. Cassandra feels she is getting more attached to her child. She thinks is it even possible for her to love the kid.
There is an official plot being released about season 2. Yet there is no trailer. But we have some guesses as to what could happen in season 2.
Season 2 is a sequel. It will start from where last season ended. We might see Cassandra is no longer with her boyfriend, Ivaldo. Plus, we will get to see either Cassandra decide to lead the career or go back to her son.
