Shoot! Goal To The Future Anime is the anime series of The Shoot! Franchise of Japan. The franchise is launching another anime series after Aoki Densetsu Shoot! Tv anime series which is going to be the new version of the latter.

The series revolves around the soccer game and the players at the Kakegawa High School. The tournaments arranged has a story to tell around the golden trio of the characters named Toshihiko, Kenji, and Kazuhiro.

The Japanese sports anime series is purely based on an original Japanese Manga series created by Tsukasa Oshima and directed by Noriyuki Nakamura being licensed by Crunchyroll on AT-X, Tokyo MX, TV Shizuoka, YTV, BS NTV, and BS Fuji networks. The television series, Aoki Densetsu Shoot! was produced by Shinji Shimizu and Yoshio Takami in alignment with Daisuke Nishio’s direction on Fuji Tv networks. The series widely follows the sports and drama genre which attracted viewers on a larger count.

The credit for the immense success of the anime series is given to the phenomenal casts. Aoki Densetsu Shoot! has the following cast:

  • Toshihiko Tanaka voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa: The main lead of the Aoki Densetsu Shoot! anime series.
  • Kazuhiro Hiramatsu voiced by Masami Kikuchi: One of Toshihiko’s best friends who once stopped playing soccer but resumed after Toshihiko convinced him.
  • Kenji Shiraishi voiced by Nobutoshi Canna: The skillful goalkeeper who left playing soccer before but resumed later.
  • Kazumi Endo voiced by Noriko Hidaka: The manager of the soccer club who was also the crush of Toshihiko.
  • Atsushi Kamiya voiced by Toshiyuki Morikawa: The vice-captain of the soccer tea who was rude outside but soft-hearted inside.
  • Keigo Mahori voiced by Tomokazu Seki: One of the teammates of the playing team.
  • Yutaka Sasaki: Skillful player who wasn’t considered as a good player but was selected for the main squad.
  • Shinichi Nitta: The close friend of Sasaki who was also on the team and plays well as a defender.
  • Tsuyoshi Akahori: One of the toughest to be played on, in the defensive squad.
  • Shigeki Otsuka: A good friend of Akahori who was also an excellent player.

The differently built ‘The Shoot’ series is going to have a new version in the form of Shoot! Goal To The Future Anime with a damn new storyline for the fans to enjoy. But it is quite prominent that the series will follow the sports and drama genre like Aoki Densetsu Shoot!. The story will start initially at Kakegawa High School with Atsushi Kaniya, the captain of the Italian Soccer Team, and Hideto Tsuji, a high school student in the lead role.

Before passing the high school Atsushi was the school team captain of the soccer squad but as he passed off the school the team lost its strongest and most skillful player. Hideto, being uninterested in the game does not agree to be a part of it. After being convinced by Atsushi, he may agree to join and the story of the series, Shoot! Goal To The Future Anime will carry forward the game lead with certain twists and climaxes adding the spicy tale.

Aoki Densetsu Shoot! Recap

Toshihiko joined the soccer team associated with a club being inspired by his idol, Yoshiharu Kubo, who played during his time at Kakegawa High School. His two friends Kenji and Kazuhiro along with Toshihiko were known as the best ‘Kakenishi Golden Trio’. In high school, they denied being part of the team as Kazuhiro’s father relied on him to be more focused on his studies and Kenji once ended up with his team getting qualified as he was involved in the fight due to his short temper.

Later, they both were shown joining the team on the account that Kazuhiro convinced his father with an agreement that his grades won’t be affected and Kenji realized the worth of soccer and the golden trio in his life. The story brings a twist when Kubo was dead getting a goal done in one of the matches. The team won that match by the final and winning goal of Toshihiko but lost Kubo. The series made the team lose for the nationals as it was still hard for them to cope with the death of Kubo.

The series brings another Brazilian-Japanese student who joined the team. The whole team then after decided to play hard and win the nationals for Kubo.

The trailer of Shoot! Goal To The Future Anime is prominently available after an official announcement related to the same was made. With the phenomenal success of the previous series, Aoki Densetsu Shoot, the makers were inclined to present a new set of casts with a completely unique and brand new storyline to the fans. The trailer to which was also decided to be released for the fans to get a sneak peek into the story and keep their curiosity to another level.

The original Japanese Manga series can be traced back to 1990 which had fan support for 13 years until it ended in 2003. It was published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine with a count of 33 volumes. Based on this series, Aoki Densetsu Shoot! was introduced on 7 November 1993 when it came with a bang with its newly created first episode. The series continued till December 1994. 

After these, the series was taken by various productions for streaming to the fans. This action of the makers and producers of the team has forced the anime lovers to keep checking about the updates of Shoot! Goal To The Future Anime. The dates of the release are not certain but according to the official announcement it is meant to spark in the first week of July 2022. 

Where to watch Shoot! Goal To The Future Anime?

The anime series of the franchise, Aoki Densetsu Shoot! has a total of 58 episodes which were made available on 9anime after the release and is currently streaming on YouTube under Toei Animation on its official channel from 2 June 2022. As the new series, Shoot! Goal To The Future Anime is already birthing from Crunchyroll it will get a release on the same platform, unlike the former series. Additionally, the series will allow its fan to access 5 episodes every week until 1 September 2022.
