The main storyline focuses on an obese woman, Annie, who has lost her sense of self-worth. Annie has no control over her life and is ignored by everyone close to her. When she turns 23, she is a star in journalism and does not wish to lose some weight or get a facelift, but she wants to improve her personality.
Although her mother criticizes her weight, she forms a relationship with a scumbag man-child. The man-child tries his best to save Annie from his roommates and hides her whenever he can. Annie is caught between her personal life and her parent’s and boss’ expectations, and all of this is happening at a time when people consider her unworthy.
She meets some overweight women at a pool party and develops a relationship with them. She understands that she must take charge of her life while working with them, and apart from getting a job and splitting from her man-child boyfriend Ryan, she is moving forward in her career. Annie has understood that she is not inferior to others because of her looks and is trying to make everyone understand the same.
