Starmyu Season 4 Release Date, Plot, Cast, and More

Starmyu’ is a fun time if you like musicals set in a high school setting. The plot of the anime is surprisingly straightforward: it centers on a group of young people (mostly students) who are all searching for their unique musical voices. Though the show’s main message—that you should never give up on your dreams—is compelling enough to keep you watching, it’s the individuals who make the experience worthwhile. Season after season, at least one of these people will become increasingly important to you.

It’s a timeless tale of young people dealing with the trials of growing up, such as making friends, following one’s aspirations, and figuring out how to make ends meet. The anime may look like it’s aimed at a female audience, but everyone may enjoy it despite the fact that all of the main characters are male.

Its third season, titled “Starmyu,” debuted on July 1, 2019, and it concluded on September 16, 2019. If you’ve been following the show this long, you’re definitely wondering if there will be a Season 4. Since “Starmyu” is an original animation, the studio behind it doesn’t need to bother about adapting the manga or light book adaptations. Even if the show’s popularity has declined marginally in the ratings from season 1, the decline is likely to be negligible.

Even if “Starmyu” doesn’t have a great fanbase, there are still some dedicated viewers who would watch a fourth season if it were greenlit. Seasons of the show have been consistently released virtually year since its debut in 2015. The announcement of Season 3’s release date was received with speculation that it would be the series’ final installment. But “Starmyu” is the type of anime that has room to grow and expand its slice-of-life plot.

Season 3 is also clearly distinct from the previous two, but at the end of the season, it appeared to be wrapping up all of its loose ends. Though it may be too early to tell if the show will be renewed, season three seems to be its last. It’s possible the plot could go on for a little while more, and that we’d see the characters graduate. But the way Season 3 wrapped up, it seems like the show’s makers decided to terminate the anime for good.
