the third part of this anime did not end on a good note. the writers took Northern Karlsland island in the third season but the ending also shows the Southern Karlsland and Ostmark are still captured by Neuroi.

Also, a lot people want to see more of Sakomoto, bit she became a secondary character because she lost her powers but there is a chance that in the next season she might get her powers back.
