Bythewood, who is also the executive producer of the series, along with Brian Grazer, Samantha Corbin-Miller, Kevin Durant, and Rich Kleiman. Swagger is all about youth basketball along with the players, their families, and coaches walking the line of control between dreams, aims, opportunities, and corruption.

Produced by Imagine Television, Undisputed Cinema, CBS Studios, and Thirty-Five Ventures, the series rated 6.2 out of 10 on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes holds an approval rating of 79% in less than a month. After that, Apple renewed the series for a second season on June 15, 2022. But there is no news yet about the release date of the new season. Since the series was renewed this year, we can hope that the show will return in mid of 2023, and everything depends on the production’s speed.

The developers are currently quiet on whatever they are planning to bring in Season 2. But it is confirmed to begin from where the previous season concluded. The premise is based on Durant’s life and the challenges faced by an individual in youth basketball to become a professional at one point.

The main character of the series is Jace Carson, who is one of the best basketball players. He aims to make it to the NBA and enrolls in a training program led by a former star player and basketball coach Ike. The characters eventually form a close relationship with each other that goes beyond the world of basketball. Carson also has to battle with the issues he faces inside and outside the court and also confronts a world where people are judged based on their skin color.
