If you loved the first season of ‘The Cleaning Lady season 2’, you’ll be happy to know that the American crime drama is back. “A whip-smart Cambodian doctor comes to the U.S. for a medical treatment to save her son, but when the system fails and pushes her into hiding, she uses her cunning and intelligence to fight back, breaking the law for all the right reasons.” This show is based on the 2017 Argentina television show ‘La chica que limpia’.
Miranda Kwok developed as well as executive produced the show along with Rose Marie Vega, Paola Suárez, Shay Mitchell, David Dean Portelli, Michael Offer and Melissa Carter. The producers of the show are Stewart Lyons, Joe Lotito and Michael Notarile, in association with Fox Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television Studio.

After it was renewed for season 2 in April 2022, ‘The Cleaning Lady’ premiered on September 19, 2022. If we look at season 1 that released on January 3, 2022 with 10 episodes and a running time 42-45 minutes, we can expect the same for season 2.

He is playing Nadia’s ex-lover Robert, who will do anything to bridge a gap between Nadia and Arman. We are also excited to witness Liza Weilguest as a guest star in season 2.
The Cleaning Lady Season 2 Plot
A cliffhanger ended Season 1 involving Thony’s estranged husband Marco (Ivan Shaw) kidnapping their son for a possible return to the Philippines. It is unclear what the outcome of the cliffhanger will be, but showrunner Melissa Carter and writer/developer Miranda Kwok have discussed where the main character will go in Season 2.
Speaking to Deadline, Kwok said, “We’re definitely going to see a lot more grays with Thony and challenge her some more. A lot of circumstances are going to keep dragging her across the moral line. It’s just a matter of how far we go with her.” This new season will mainly focus on Thony searching for her son after he is kidnapped by Marco. She definitely does not stay true to her innocent cleaning lady personality!
As of now in season 2 we saw Thony (Yung) desperately trying to find her son, Luca, after he was kidnapped by his father, Marco (Ivan Shaw). With nowhere else to turn, she turns to an FBI Agent Garret Miller (Hudson) to track him down before they leave the country. Meanwhile, an incident involving Chris (Lew) forces Fiona (Millan) to shield her son by any means necessary, furthering the theme of how far a mother will go to protect her child.
The Cleaning Lady Season 2 Episode Guide

Episode 1- ‘Sins of the Father’ (September 19, 2022): Luca is kidnapped by his father Marco, and Thony is desperate to find him before they leave the country. She enlists the help of FBI Agent Garrett Miller.
Episode 2- ‘Lolo and Lola’ (September 26, 2022): A meeting between Arman and Nadia’s ex-lover is required of Thony, following the arrival of her in-laws in Las Vegas.
Episode 3- ‘El Diablo Que Conoces’ (October 3, 2022): Tony must partner with Arman and Nadia to make money to save Luca; Fiona keeps Chris away from trouble when evidence threatens.
Episode 4- ‘Bahala Na’ (October 10, 2022): When Fiona puts herself in a dangerous situation, Thony calls Arman for assistance; Garrett is struggling to regain control of the Cortez case; and Chris struggles to overcome the emotional effects of recent events.
