The following season will have a third assist for participants to obtain when they reach the $50,000 game, in addition to the Simplify assist and the fan-favourite One Shot assist, which allows teams to ask famous athlete Wade to take their place within the Cube. Trial Run, the third assist, is a free practice effort at a game – no incentive for winning, no punishment for failing – but the key choice comes later when they must pick whether to walk or take that game on for real.
